Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:

Speaker 3:

Check in my boys how we doing on this fine Presidents day afternoon. Damn man, it's good, man Kind of sucks. We're going to have to go back to work tomorrow, but it's been a great, great day, great weekend overall, get a bunch of cool stuff. So hope everybody out there is doing as good as we are. So yeah, man, what's going on?

Speaker 1:

with you, man. Well, man, I'm just brazing for this freaking tornado that's supposed to be coming through.

Speaker 2:

I thought you said it was a tsunami.

Speaker 1:

Something like that. It's going to be a lot of wind, a lot of rain, supposed to be some hail, some funnel clouds. I don't know what's going on, but yeah, getting ready for that here and then supposed to go train later. So we'll see if I make it back from that.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, All right, cuz Well, to keep you occupied until then, let's get into this week's combat stories for the week. You know how I like to do it. I like to share a lot of fan made style videos and usually it's like awesome fan edits with explosions and all kinds of cool captions and stuff. But this time it's a little bit different. This is if you got a little extra cheddar in your pocket and you like jujitsu and you like having a huge impact with very little to affect you. Check this out. Here is a documentary made by Bay Area photographer seven on the red. He posted this and I was like, oh, I got to share this with the whole crew. So I believe this documentary is called jujitsu para todos. So this guy went down to some little town in Peru and just started like a nonprofit training kids that don't have a lot of money but have a very hard life and have a hard upbringing and often have to deal with bullies one way or another. And this guy I don't know how he found this town, but check it out, man, I'm going to play a little bit of the game.

Speaker 1:

They love the faith. You know what it's going to be with their life, you know. For some reason they just turn to the other side.

Speaker 2:

You want to respond to the truth A disaster.

Speaker 1:

A total disaster. They grew up in this environment. When it's really easy to start doing bad things. I say that you have the right to do it. There's many kids at home, but at school they're hanging out all day on the streets.

Speaker 3:

Because if the kid has a problem, he'll have to do it. You are teaching them something to connect with themselves, to listen to their heart.

Speaker 1:

Here in the U-Geeks we are like brothers.

Speaker 2:

So again, it's just the same story. Different characters, different country, but same results Just people unifying on the mats, using it to escape their everyday struggles and use it to feel better about themselves. And not only that, but hopefully they don't have to, but this gives them the confidence to take care of themselves in the street. I got a post in the description, if you want to check it out. Also, if you want to donate, it's guardianjimorg. So if you want to check it out, guardianjimorg Again, it's in the description. What do you guys think? Dude the fountain's great man yeah, it's really short, but check it out. The whole video. I think the whole documentary is only about a little under an hour. So if you want to check it out, it's on their page. You can watch it for free. Yeah, man sports like this are always good outlets for kids.

Speaker 3:

man like boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, I mean like all these things are good.

Speaker 2:

Martial arts, getting better with martial arts, so, and it's also creating a community, which is what we're trying to do here. And last week we got thrown into the fire boys because I posted this clip about Andre A couple of weeks ago actually. I believe it was Andre Fili getting knocked out by Dan E. Ye, I mean, I just gave a quick take saying that what was up with Fili? He was being a little lazy. But you know, dude, this is the upper echelon of strikers. I'm just a couch quarterback on a Tuesday afternoon. Whatever you want to call me, I'm the amateur of the amateur, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. But obviously Fili was playing a very, very dangerous game, took the gamble, didn't pay out this time because the last fight he used a similar strategy and it worked out. This time, unfortunately, it didn't work out for him. But everybody out there in the community posted on this. We got a lot of comments, a lot of new subscribers. I just want to give a quick shout out to all these people following us on IG Shelterbug, wi-fi, beeslow, tristan Mancini and the Worcest Shark too. Shout out to all you guys starting up the community. Thank you for chipping in. Thank you for putting me on blast, putting me in my spot, but also proving your takes by saying you know what? It's just a game that he plays. He does this all the time and he's not being lazy, he's just laying a trap. So again, big shout out, guys.

Speaker 3:

Anything you want to add to this, oh man it's always good to hear back from the community, see what they think about our commentary. Like you said, man, sometimes we're just fucking shooting shit and we don't really know what we're talking about. Other times we might have a little idea, but you guys provide some good perspective too, so we want to hear what that's about.

Speaker 2:

Definitely, and I definitely loved all the name calling and the shout outs. So it was, it was awesome, like, let's keep it up, let's get another good discussion going on. This week we did have a very, very good discussion on MMA fights that are a must watch, must watch. So we're going to do a segment on that, coming up, maybe even a whole episode. So, boys, start putting an episode together, start getting a little list of what are some must see MMA fights. Let's say, tomorrow I call you guys on, I'm going to body cast. Yo. I'm like, hey, I can't do anything except say, hey, alexa, put on the next fight. What are three to five fights that you're like, frank, you got to watch these dog. Ooh, that's challenge will make it happen.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, hell yeah. And everyone out there in Chigaso's combat community, drop us a line, dm us at chingosl's crew, on IG, on Twitter for now known as X on threads on Tiktok. However you want to get ahold of us and let us know what are some of your must see fights. All right, boys, let's get into this. So it was fight week and it started off with the shit storm, and it started with cousin that's favorite all time fighter, putting his coach on blast. Did you guys catch this? I know the mistakes that I made. Yeah, okay, we'll talk to you and, like the whole team, this is on the countdown for my last Olympic trials. You've been there for me, but as of right now, I just want to let you know, man, that for this camp dude.

Speaker 1:

I want you to not wear those glasses.

Speaker 2:

Unless you included. Sometimes you're too close to somebody and people just get too comfortable. The goal is always in the same, so allegedly, apparently according to this video, you would think that Henry let released his coach. And that's fine to do if you want to change camps. You know people. Why do it on camera, right and a lot of people that are like in the know or like Joe bro, that friendship is too strong for that to stick. There's no way. That's bullshit. So apparently it was. Why did he try to pull this? I don't know Right, but before he really before he told everybody it was a joke. Marab was checkmate, bro. I beat you first, check this out. You released your coach.

Speaker 1:

You have a hand is a who does coach here with us and now he's gonna he's gonna teach how to beat Henry. Okay, I didn't want to talk to you and we are with.

Speaker 2:

So, brought bringing him on, bringing him on to the team. No, it turned out that wasn't true. It wasn't true, and neither was this.

Speaker 1:

Come on guys, come on, argo pants ain't gonna pay for themselves.

Speaker 2:

You're nowhere near that level, my friend? Yeah, he was. It was all a sham, it was all a dream. Like big he likes to say, so smoke show. Was he playing mind games with Marab, or what guys?

Speaker 3:

I don't know, man, I think he was just trying to like make a joke out of it. Like always, man, he's not, he's not funny, you know what I mean? He's just he's cheesy King of cheese triple cheese.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, pretty cringy you might say I think he's gonna try to keep himself in, like his name up there. I don't see any other relevant.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, trying to stay relevant. Yeah, trying to stay in the camera's eyes. And you know what else is so funny? Like they did this whole thing right. But during the fight Eric wasn't even in the cage. He was on the outside, and usually he's inside.

Speaker 3:

No, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I'm pretty sure but anyway. So I thought it was funny that when Henry was getting his name called and he's like crouching down doing angry face, right, guess who was directly behind him His coach. His coach was standing and then when he saw Henry, squad, squad down, guess what he did Squad. It was so funny. Dude, I'm like bro, you just trying to get on the camera man, leave him alone. Not the right time, eric, not the right time. All right, guys. Last, there's a couple of clips here that we didn't get to share with y'all last week because, one, my internet was being super shady and I love Robocop this much fun, so I'm bringing it back. I'm running it back. So last week that was a UFC ultimate fight night, joe Piper taking on Jack Hermansen, and I wanted to share this Brad DeVarious versus Gregory Robocop Rodriguez, because you weren't here for this. I don't know if you got to watch this highlight, but you want to see an ass whooping. You'll see it. Check it out. Look at this. One, two. This is round three, after Robocop has just been beating the dog crap out of Brad DeVarious. One, two, three, four, five, six. Get over here.

Speaker 1:

Reset One, two, one two, You're relentless man Relax.

Speaker 2:

Seriously like a tidal wave of shots. Look at that. Yeah, Right hand after right hand, right.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I can't believe he was, he was standing cement head bro.

Speaker 2:

Look at once. He got him like right here up against the cage and he stopped moving right here. Look one, two, three, four, five, six, dude, six power shots, where he had enough time to pump the shotgun and then release that bad boy. That is a scary, scary dude man. So I wanted to share that with the combat crew one more time running it back. And then, fonzo, we didn't talk about this because, as the fight was going on, as we were recording, the fight was wrapping up and we did do a fight companion, but I haven't cut it up fast enough to throw up and I don't know if really we should put it up because UFC blocks everything, so it would just be still shots. So maybe we'll do it for a more eventful UFC, Like if you guys wanted to do a watch party for one of the five fights on the main car from this past weekend. Dude, every fight was a barn burner. So let's talk about this fight real quick here. Fonzo, jack Cremanson, joe Piper this was a middleweight bout. Jack Cremanson ends up winning the unanimous decision. But rounds one and two I don't know if you remember this, fonzo, but I kind of for sure round one went to Piper, piper's landing the bigger shots, landing more shots, being more active, and Cremanson just absorbed it and he was just waiting and waiting. And then in the second round, piper started to slow down, cremanson started to turn it up a little bit more. And then the third round, jack was like fresh on the feet and he looked like he was definitely the fresher fighter and he was imposing his game plan on Piper and Piper just started to slowly crumble, piece by piece, until it was just accumulation and he was just in the position of too many points and in the judge's eyes and even though it wasn't like a beating or like a killing, he was piling on the points.

Speaker 3:

Right, yeah, yeah. And you know what? It's crazy, man, Because I remember the first round. I'm like, oh, this is going to be, this is going to be an easy round for Piper or easy fight for Piper. I didn't think that was going to be able to come back. And then you know two. I'm like, oh shit, tight, starting it for sure.

Speaker 2:

And then I want to say, right around the middle of the third round, me and you notice, you're like yo, bro, is like momentum changing, like Piper is definitely slowing down and he's looking like he's looking like he was taking some deep breaths, yeah, and was taking all of his power shots and nothing was affecting me anymore. So we'll talk a little more about the middleweight rankings and maybe who should this guy fight, because I do have the rankings up. But yo, let's get into some other UFC news, bro. We still had not had a UFC 300 main event and rumors were flying. Everyone was like yo, is it going to be Leon and Kamzat? And Kamzat pretty much stomped that out and was like yo, not during Ramadan, so stop asking. Then Dana released this and I was like yo, is that DDP? Who do you think that is on the screen Like? Is that a Marab? Maybe I don't even know. There's to be a light-skinned dude with a fade and UFC gloves holding a flag, but you really can't tell who it is. So, again, rumors flying, say that again.

Speaker 1:

It looks like Nick Diaz to me.

Speaker 2:

So then this came out that Dana had offered three different opponents to Leon Edwards and he agreed to all three, bro. But I don't know if those three guys agreed either, because none of those I mean, and we still don't know who those three opponents were I would imagine it was probably Gilbert. I mean, who could it have been dude? Kamzat one, maybe Shafkat two, and then it was the Schmo was saying that it was not even Bilal dude, so Bilal was not one of the three, even though he's a rightful heir. So I doubt it was Kamaru. Again, gilbert.

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know, but this is no bueno, so no. Leon on UFC 300, and our bald friend here had a special announcement right after UFC 300 wrapped up. Check it out, boy, in the Honda Center in.

Speaker 3:

Anaheim, California, and I'm going to announce the main event for UFC 300 right now. It will feature Alex Perera defending his lightweight title against Jamal Hill.

Speaker 2:

There it is, bruh Jamal Hill coming off. A QV surgery former I mean, I guess I was would you say he was the undisputed champ, because there was no interim title. He was the champ until he got hurt, right yeah? So, jamal, the dream is that his nickname, the dream Hill, taking on Alex Perera, not for the middleweight strap, not for the light heavyweight strap. Oh wait, is this? What's this? For? It's light heavyweight, light heavyweight strap. Right yeah, dude, this is insane in the brain, bro, this is going to be good. This is going to be good, but it may not have been the barn burner that everybody expected, but it's still going to be a really good fight, bro. It's still going to be a killer fight. Can't wait to see. I wish, I hope that Jamal comes in in shape, bro, without any, any, any effects from the Achilles surgery, because Achilles, back in the day, you know, that was like a career endings injury. If you're a basketball player or a football player, you know. So Jamal's not really that much of an explosive athlete athlete, so it shouldn't take away from his speed, but it might make him second guess some type of movement, maybe if he's not all the way healed up. But I mean, I'm here for it, guys. I am here for it. What do you guys say?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, man, I mean I would just like I said, man, I was a little disappointed. I told you, you know, just because, like he was hyping this, this match matchup, for so long that I thought it would be a lot, a lot bigger. I'm not mad at it, I just you know what I mean. It was kind of like, oh okay, all right, I can see that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, more, just more Dana being Dana. But at the same time, you know what I mean he didn't really have too many options left. Yeah, everyone was either already booked to fight somebody else or they're injured. So yeah no conner for sure. None of the heavy hitters were available, so that got announced, dude, and then out. This is crazy. Talk this crazy, Because Alex went on to say that if he does, if he can, if he's able to come out of UFC 300 without a scratch on him, which is supposed to go down April 13th, that he wants to turn around and headline UFC 301 in Brazil May 3rd. That's like not even three weeks, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I can see it happening.

Speaker 2:

You think so. They better not truck test them.

Speaker 3:

I can see him just fucking just like back. You know what I mean Like Jamal.

Speaker 2:

Hill. One like that would be the best case scenario. Like a one hitter quitter get out within the first two to three minutes of round one and then you're back on the plane, flying back home, recovering, and you're ready to go defend your strap against who else is, whoever may be next. But this is crazy, dude. Like if you're Jamal Hill, this is going on the billboard in your locker room and you're going to see that every day, like every day when you're in bed and you're like no, it's too cold out there, I don't want to get up and train you. Just 15 more minutes. Like you better get up and see that shit. He, like this dude, thinks he's going to walk all over you and go fight another dude in 20 days. That's a slap in the face, bro, to any fighter. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Anybody can have make it happen.

Speaker 2:

It's this dude. That is definitely true, dude. If anybody is down to do it, it is this dude man. So whoo, all right, stay tuned. So here we have the UFC 300 finalized main card on the screen. Gentlemen, looks like the pay preview is going to open up with Calvin Kata, Aldraman Sterling, followed by Yuri Projaska, alexander Rakic, charlie Olive taking on Armand Serukian, samson Gagey taking on Max Olive, max Max Hallway, john W Lee taking on Jan Shalnan and our main event that just got announced, alex Pereta taking on Jamal Hill for the UFC light heavyweight champion. And the winner of this is going to be undisputed bro. No doubt about it.

Speaker 3:

Damn, that's crazy, pretty loaded. The bottom four, the bottom four fights of this, of this main card, could easily be headliners.

Speaker 2:

All of these could be headliners. Like you know, john W Lee and Jan Shalnan could easily headline a card in China, like right now. Dude, people will line up and they'll sell out, like in 10 seconds. Gagey Holloway, bro, that should be a five. I mean I almost don't want it to be five rounds because that is going to take years off. Both of those fighters For real, the Charlie Olives and Armand Sarukyan, fight bro. That is going to answer a lot of questions about both of those dudes. Is Armand the dude and is Charlie done? Is Oliveira no more top three. They're going to call Armando, remember?

Speaker 3:

Armando Sarukyan.

Speaker 2:

Armando Sarukyan from the truck. That's right. I think if we do Yuri and Alexander Rackage, that's going to be a banger. Someone's going to break something. And then dude, what if Aljo tears it up in his first fight at featherweight? Does he get a title shot? What's?

Speaker 3:

he ranked. Right now Is he number two.

Speaker 2:

I even rank, because this is gonna be his first fight at bad, at featherweight or bad, yeah, featherweight is fighting at Bannum.

Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah so a lot of questions gonna be answered, boys. A lot of questions. All right, guys, I got one hold on. Let me rewind this. You know what time it is, guys, this last Friday night, one Friday fight 19, and, if you want to go back and watch some bangers, there was MMA, there was Muay Thai, but I only want to share this one fight right here. Like I was watching this and I'm like Pulling up the little hair that I have left on my head out, because I'm like, bro, why does this not mainstream in the States? Why do I have to watch Muay Thai fights on Amazon Prime? Like I should be on ABC, this should be on ESPN, this should be on TNT. This needs to be in front of people's eyes. Bro, I didn't know who Felipe lobo was when they announced originally announced his files. Like bro, they're just throwing this guy to the wolves. He's gonna get tore up. But check out this clip, dog. Check this out. This is a round. He's alone. He is. Look at this. This was round one, bro. He sat Jonathan down on his ass. He had to take a break, bro. He barely made it out of this right. Look at this. 1918, 17 seconds, dude. He was lucky there was in 30 more seconds left because he was Wobble. Bro, he was wobble, but you know what. Yeah, definitely Fonzo. Look at that all hands, bro, all hands. And that's what I noticed throughout the whole fight is Lobo was throwing just punches, bro, whereas Haggerty was mixing it up. A lot of those are, you know, those Short, quick inside elbows that we like, like it looks like we're gonna come in for a right hand and instead they don't release it and they just keep coming in and just throw that elbow in like a, like a spear. He was landing a lot of those and tons and tons of kicks, dude. So that was round one. But check this out, bro. This is why Jonathan Haggerty is that dude. He is that dude. This is round three, two and a half right there. And this was after he had beat the crap out of Lobo in round two. He definitely took all the momentum back. Look at this, look at that, right here.

Speaker 3:

Oh man.

Speaker 2:

And look at this Like he got hit in the head with a pillow to the marbles he's fucking wobbly as hell, yeah well dude. That was his second knockdown in that fight in that rounds.

Speaker 1:

Damn.

Speaker 3:

So you guys want to see that right hand again.

Speaker 2:

Yes check it, check it, look at this low left kick right on the button.

Speaker 3:

That was right. That's a beautiful combo. I mean I was delayed. Look at the angle he caught.

Speaker 2:

Oh beautiful, bro. So Haggerty is still the champ, and I want to say that Rartain Like, tweeted him and was like you look something like a, you look good, let's do it again, let's run it back, or something like that. So, bro, I am here for it. That's. That's what I'm talking about, dude Two of the baddest guys in the sport in the same way class, ready to go back at it again because they've already fought twice, I Think Rartain's two and oh, but they've been so close each and every time, man.

Speaker 1:

There are time.

Speaker 2:

Alright, guys, moment of silence for this. I don't know. What do you guys want to do, man?

Speaker 3:

I feel like pouring one out.

Speaker 2:

Man. Alright, let's just jump, let's count and ball right into this, bro. Ufc 298 went down last night. I got only the bangers, but we're gonna talk about every card, every fight on the main card. Let's start with this fight on the pre-lims Josh Quinlan versus Danny Barlow. Did anybody see this? Yeah you're in for a treat, cuz you are in for a treat, so Uh, I was fucking. Josh Quinlan was coming in on a hot streak with back-to-back I want to say like first round finishes, but he's definitely coming in with back-to-back KO's and then Anthony or Danny Barlow what's the favorite? I don't know anything about him, but a we will, after this dude, check this out. He was just dropping hammers on Quinlan. All bye, dude. Look at this. This is round three, early on. He's like Josh, get up here so I can beat your ass some more.

Speaker 3:

For a couple moments, dude, I thought.

Speaker 2:

I thought I was actually getting better exchanges, like round one round, even round two, but then he was landing a little bit but he was taking so much damage. You look at Quinlan's face and look like he stuck his head in a hornet's nest.

Speaker 3:

It was bad. Look at his back.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, as the fight went on, the gap between the two fighters just started increasing a little bit more and a little bit more, and a little bit More. Then tell by the end of the second round. Dude, quinlan did not have an answer and he was just taking shut. He was getting his ass whooped like this. I mean, look at his face right here, dude.

Speaker 3:

Let me know who reminded me of right now fucking rampage back in his heyday, oh.

Speaker 2:

Hungry bro, relentless pace. Yes yeah, good call there fun. So. So that was a round three. Tko Danny Barlow getting it done. So calling rampage little rampage, all right. Well, what are you gonna call this guy mean gang Zhang? I'm taking on Branson Ribeiro and bro, let me see what's going on here. Oh yeah, check it out, check it, check it out. This is round one Early on to, bro. So Zhang is supposed to be like a Dana, like a what's the show from China that they have rode to at UFC? Oh, oh yeah, I think he won that show. Look at this dude and he drops bombs clean, clean as hell, look at that dude.

Speaker 3:

Hey, that was a perfect combo. Every single one of those right hand shots landed. The one two, three, yeah, and then that hammer fist when he's down.

Speaker 2:

I love this crisp one, two, three right here dude, so clean. Oh, I'm so interested in seeing more of this guy. I mean I know he's just coming up, but hey man, he looks like a Chinese Frankenstein Dude. When he came out, I'm like what in the Chinese Frankenstein is this guy? Because his head was just like a block. Bro, it's a block, it's what it is.

Speaker 3:

Yes, All right.

Speaker 2:

So here we got this was the second to last fight on the pre-lens Junior Tafa taking on Markos Rohedio Dilema and Junior Tafa taking this like on hours Notice. Hey, something happened to his leg.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I didn't hear what I just heard.

Speaker 2:

It was a leg injury of some sort. So I think this ended up going into the second round. And Fonzo, me and you were going back and forth before this and we were wondering dude, in the first round you were going to have a leg injury. In the first round, dilema was beating up that leg like bad, yeah, beating it up like it owed him money, and then when it looked like Tafa couldn't stand anymore, he shot him for a take down and then they stayed on the ground for the rest of the fight.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so here we are early on round two.

Speaker 2:

I'm sure his corner told him something, but then it looked like he was going to do it again.

Speaker 3:

And at first I thought that he might have done that, because maybe I was like maybe Tafa did check a kick and his leg got fucked up too, so maybe that's why he went for the clinch, but even at that, like you don't got to throw leg kicks, because if he's only standing on one leg, just throw hands.

Speaker 2:

You know, and look at that dude, he just came in and finished up what he started One mean ass leg kick. Yeah, he gave up right there he's done, yeah. And then he's like just come, finish me, bro, I'm ready to go. I wonder how much he got for that. I know, I know we did have a screenshot of that. We'll share those numbers next week show, because we did, because this was in California, we were able to see all the payouts before the pay per view points if a fighter was awarded those.

Speaker 1:

All right.

Speaker 3:

That was a nasty leg kicks.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it was man Speaking of nasty. I'm out the limos taking on McKenzie during this first round. Dude, was F been killer? Oh, like Amanda was landing some heavy right hands and I've won. I don't know if it was Fonzo, was it round one or round two when she dropped McKenzie and it looked like McKenzie kind of curled up and I thought she was round one.

Speaker 3:

I thought she was crying bro. I thought she was crying oh yeah, and like, and like.

Speaker 2:

I mean yeah. I mean yeah, like middle school locker room fight like like dude, yeah, stop the fight, stop the fight. So bad. But dude, she got, she rallied up, yeah, she came back, dude. So Amanda ended up getting the unanimous decision, when I know a lot of people online are upset with that. But I don't see, I don't see how McKenzie could have won. I mean, I guess she hung in there, she had her moments, but I don't think she had enough to say that she got the W. What do you think, fonzo?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know what I mean. She ended up controlling a little bit like second round and third round, like like the second half, but I don't think she did enough because even even with the control like there was, it was very little that she actually did to them. So I don't think, I don't think she she did enough to win it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but still was a killer fight dude. Such a good fight yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's good to see that, like the heart, she had.

Speaker 2:

Yes, definitely, definitely so. Are you ready to get into the main car boys? Oh, you don't have a clip of this one. No, I didn't, it was just the win, okay, yeah, it's just, and I don't want to play the audio because then you know, youtube just going to be like Charlie Horns, yeah, but maybe I'll find a highlight during the week of that first round. Like I thought she was going to finish her, bro, I thought she was going to finish her. All right, dude, let's get into the main card here. So the main car that paid for you started with Anthony Hernandez taking on Roman Coppilov, one of my personal favorites. And, dude, I had this one all wrong. You know what I mean. We talked about this classic striker versus grappler match, coppilov coming in with a lot of heat, but Fluffy was like, hey, hold my beer, bro, dude this is. this is my 100% and this was like the second time he took his back.

Speaker 3:

No, yeah, yeah, dude, it was beautiful how he like he didn't get it the first time. I think he attempted this three times in this round. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he kept rolling in and out at one point. Yeah, At this point he knew it was in deep. He already knew once he had that hand locked in, once he had the hand behind the head, it was game over. But in some of the other ones. You know, coppilov was able to get two hands on one and he was able to fight it. You could tell he was in, he was super uncomfortable but he was surviving. But there was just way, way too much time in this round and you could see that as soon as Fluffy got this position he was like oh I got this done, bro, it's game over, mm-hmm. And I like how he just kept rolling with him. Dude. See, there it is, it's done. He knows it's just a matter of time, bro, just a matter of time. And he was making Coppilov work the entire fight, dude, like he had to worry about a take down, he had to try to create distance because Anthony kept getting in his face. He would throw a shot. And getting right behind with shooting in a single leg, shooting in a double, getting in a quick clinch, throwing elbows, throwing knees, like he just was throwing everything he had in the tool bag at him, dude.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. Good fight to see man. I want to see way more of Fluffy. You put on a formus.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad you said that, fonto, because I got on the screen and he is ranked number 15 right now, so he is the gatekeeper to the rankings of the middleweight division. And who do you think he should fight next? Oh man, nasser Dean. Emuvalve is wide open. Brandon Allen is wide open. Roman D'Lisi just took an L. Jack Cremanton just won. We don't know what's up with Kanzat. Paul Craig's got a fight against. I forgot who, but they just announced a fight, I think it's Kyle Barallo.

Speaker 3:

He's supposed to be a good fight.

Speaker 2:

It might be, but that might be like I would like him to fight somebody. I mean, jack Cremanton would be a great fight dude, that one yeah too, and that would fast track him into top 10. Isn't that too high up for him? It might be, but I think that's a good matchup. I think that's a favorable matchup to him Again, only because number 14 got a fight, number 12's got a fight. I mean he can either fight number 13, chris Curtis, number 11, kanzat or number 10, jack Cremanton. I would say those are his three best options.

Speaker 3:

How do you think you would do against Kanzat, Like you know, just on the ground? That'd be an interesting fight.

Speaker 2:

That would be a good fight and that would test out Kanzat's gas tank. Yeah, that would be a good. That would be a fun fight, bro, that would be a fun fight. I was also thinking like a Brandon Allen and a Fluffy fight would be good too. But Brandon Allen is way up there, Number seven. You know what I mean. I don't know if he's going to want to fight number 15. And after beating, you know who did he just beat right now? He beat Roman Coppillov. Like that's going to do nothing for him in the rankings.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And.

Speaker 2:

I mean, nobody in front of him has taken an L any recently, so he's probably going to be stuck at 15, even though he put on a hell of a performance, took out a rising up and coming fighter in Roman Coppillov, but still, it's not going to do anything for you in the rankings, just a nice highlight and a nice paycheck. So next time you're going to have to fight someone higher up in the rankings, yeah all it was was like, not today. Not today, Roman Coppillov. And speaking of not today, bro, check this out Rob Davish really taking on triple cheese.

Speaker 3:

Henry Sejudo he got a couple of you, meravio.

Speaker 2:

Meravio Davish Davish Velenzuela. Check this out. This was round three. So Meravio has Henry pressed up against the cage and I think he locks his hands in for this double leg and just scoops up Meravio and it's like yo, mark Zuckerberg, you like little Mexicans. There you go. Dude, this was messed up because Henry probably thought he was going to get slam, so he was bracing for it, and instead Meravio just kind of dumped him right. He lost him off Bringing a bag of potatoes in from the ocean score. This is what your mom says bring in the bag of dirty clothes from outside and you're like all right, all right, mom, pretend like it's WWE. So, guys, were you surprised at this fight at all? And how did you score it? How'd you score around one Fonzo? What? Oh, you didn't see this cuz? Oh, my goodness. So this ended up going all three rounds. Check out Henry's face. He didn't take a lot, a lot of damage, but he's got more damage than Marab, and Marab is going. Unanimous decision.

Speaker 1:

Oh, wow.

Speaker 2:

I gave round one to Henry. It was not your typical Marab round one where he's pressuring coming forward. He was actually letting Sohoodle come to him and Henry was landing some shots. Dude, he landed some. He landed more shots. Marab did take down Henry, but Henry was able to pop up within I don't know, like five to 10 seconds possibly.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And later on Marab threw a hell of a right hand haymaker and it caught Henry like right in the forehead dude and it put him on his butt. And when he put him on his butt, marab saw blood bro and he just rushed in and Henry ducked when he was on the ground. It was like a cartoon. He flew right over him and then Henry transitioned so fast and was on top for almost the majority of the round. Okay, marab was able to pop back up, but there wasn't much time left in the round and so I gave that first round to Sohoodle, but then round two came around right, did I leave anything out there?

Speaker 3:

No, no, no, but I did the same thing. Round one was Sohoodle for sure yeah.

Speaker 2:

And then round two, he turned it up. He picked up the pace more takedowns, more big shots, dude. And you could tell that by the end of the second round Sohoodle was tired, bro. I want to say, at the end of the second round Sohoodle was on all fours and Marab had him like in a ten-finger choke, oh right in front of Zuckerberg.

Speaker 3:

Zuckerberg and he was talking to him bro.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know what he was saying, but he was like squeezing and then the round ended. They get up, they go back to their corners and then round three, same thing and then you saw the takedown that he got right at the end.

Speaker 3:

So he was asking Zuckerberg for a meta quest. He's like hey, let me get one of those.

Speaker 2:

Hey bro, give me that meta quest.

Speaker 3:

I'm joking, would you give me one of those and round three, I ended up giving Marab a 10-8.

Speaker 1:

I ended up scoring a 10-8, yeah.

Speaker 3:

No, that was an ass whooping. It was, it was.

Speaker 2:

That was an ass whooping it was. I'm going to have to look up the scorecard to see if anybody did Look it up. Do see if a judge did give a 10-8. You never know, damn. All right. Well, you're doing that, let's keep it going. That's a second loss in a row. Right, for a second or so. Oh, yeah, yeah, and I'm wondering if he's going to be done. Man, I'm wondering if he's going to hang it up. Dana did say he wasn't going to give him his time to retire in the cage, so maybe he'll do something outside. If he does decide to hang it up, which would be a shame because he's a great competitor man, he may not be able to be champ right now, or probably not ever. He is like 37, fonzo, yeah, I think he's 37. So you know, the good old Luke Thomas curse.

Speaker 3:

And I just looked up the scorecard. Yeah, nobody gave a 10-8. Nobody gave a 10-8. It was a 10-9 all the way across and yet all judges gave a pseudo round.

Speaker 2:

One See, all right. Well, marab said after the fight oh bro, check this out. I read this on Reddit. Ray Longo, marab's head coach, said that in the locker room before this fight, marab went three five-minute rounds with Aljo to warm up bro. What the fuck? What kind of gas tank does this dude have? He's like the energizer Brunny bro, and he went three rounds. But would you say he took a lot of damage? I would say no, and I'm wondering what the athletic commission's going to say about him. What kind of suspension?

Speaker 3:

Oh, he's speaking of suspension. Dern got a 180-day suspension.

Speaker 2:

Well, that should be true, dude, because I mean she got her brains knocked out of her skull practically in her last fight too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh what.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, she got the snobby that were in that last fight against Jessica and Josh. Yeah, so back to Marab. Though Marab says that because he took very little to no damage in this fight, he says he'd be ready to go for UFC 299 as a backup fighter this weekend. Shit, Not this weekend. So when is when's 299? March 17th? So that's less than 30 days away. Another impossibility, dude. He's trying to one up Alex. He heard this and he's like all right, Alex, hold my hat real quick. All right, bros, I don't have clips for these next two fights, but I still want to talk about them. They don't have major implications in each weight class. So we had a welterweight matchup between Jeff Hansen-Steel-Neal taking on Ian Machado-Garry. Ian Gary scores the unanimous decision. Victory, Got the top 10 on the screen. Boys, what do you think should be next for Ian Gary? Ian Gary is currently ranked number 10. He did call out Colby and his post-fight press speech. That would be a good fight for me. I think that's cool. You think so? Yeah, why not? Or Sean Brady, bro.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Sean Brady, I don't.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean I would love to see him. I mean anybody up there Do shop con. He's ready for anybody in the top five.

Speaker 1:

This is the dude with the girlfriend right Ian, gary, the wife.

Speaker 2:

The wife who has a boyfriend.

Speaker 3:

OK, is it the wife or the walker? Whenever it is, he won. He won by decision.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he won by decision. Nothing too impressive. You know, I wouldn't even go back and watch it again if I Was she there, of course she was there. Of course she was there. Yeah, yeah, of course, all right.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, I did notice.

Speaker 2:

He had Gilbert in his corner, though, I believe. Oh, he did, so I don't know if that would have an effect on fighting him, but hey, if they're both going for the same belt, their pass are eventually going to have to cross. Yeah, but hey, there's no more running around, bro. Everyone in the top five I mean minus Kobe, I guess could really put his lights out. Yeah, right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't want to be.

Speaker 2:

I've lost all faith in Kobe dude After his last fight. I don't know where he's at. Honestly, I don't know if he's got the fire in him anymore.

Speaker 3:

So I'm surprising number five.

Speaker 2:

Seriously, dude, he hasn't beat anybody in a long, long time, so I would love to see Ian match up with Kobe and take that five from him. That would be cool. He'd actually be doing us a favor for once. I agree, all right, dog. Co-main event was Robert Bobby Knuckles, whitaker, taking on Polo Costa. This did go all three rounds and Robert Whitaker got the unanimous decision, even though he did not look like he should have. Oh really, he was taking some shots, bro. He got beat up.

Speaker 3:

Oh, he looked better than he's ever looked in a while.

Speaker 2:

Yes, he looked faster, he didn't look tired, he was pressuring Whitaker. Unfortunately, whitaker was getting off a little bit more and a lot more often than Costa, especially in the earlier rounds. I think in the earlier rounds was where Whitaker won the judges over.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

So yeah, Bobby, I was impressed by Costa more than I was with Bobby Knuckles.

Speaker 2:

So what's next? Yeah, I'm saying dude, same here. So Polo was ranked number six. He lost to number three. What do you think should be next for Polo and Bobby, for that matter? I mean, really we should be talking about Bobby Knuckles here, but we could talk about both of these guys.

Speaker 3:

So for Polo, I think I mean he's a gatekeeper, you know what I mean. He's guarding the top end of this division. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

So maybe have him fight somebody like ranks below him seven through 10?

Speaker 3:

Somebody trying to come up. Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1:

I'm not Israel Adesanya.

Speaker 2:

Allowing Adesanya again. Maybe you know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

So maybe they're going to get a warm up fight for Izzy Right.

Speaker 2:

Right Could be. I wonder what they're going to do with DDP. Like, are they going to take somebody in the top four and give him that match up and then does that going to leave? You know what I mean? Because, like as it is right now, who hasn't he fought? DDP. He hasn't fought Izzy, he hasn't fought Jared, or you know what I mean, vittorio Paolo. They're going to have to prove themselves still, but as of right now, if you're going to give him someone to defend the strap against, you got to go Izzy or Cannonier, even though Cannonier is coming off of a major injury but.

Speaker 1:

I mean, why not?

Speaker 2:

I would give it to Cannonier. If Izzy's not going to, if you don't want it, if you're not going to give it to Izzy, you're not going to give it to Sean, then I would give it to Jared. But you know what else would be cool? A four man tournament between the top four right there, but the bat, that would be great. Right, sean versus Izzy, bobby Knuckles versus Jared Cannonier. Then the winners fight and then the winner gets DDP. But then that puts DDP on the shelf for like a year almost.

Speaker 3:

I was going to say that's the only bad thing about it.

Speaker 2:

That's the major, major bad thing. That's what I'm saying. I don't think they'll wait that long. I would imagine they're going to probably put DDP If Brazil is at 301, I would imagine they're going to probably put this guy on 303, 304, somewhere around there, probably August, september-ish.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they didn't do like Christ now and do like a tournament, all of them in one day.

Speaker 2:

They're going to have to do that overseas somewhere, because the US would never allow that. All right, guys, let's talk about the main event here. Main event time Alexander Volkinowski taking on Ilya Toporya Rose. Talk about shocking the world, man. I'm sure everybody already knows the results of this by now. Here we are All right. So how did you score around one, fonzo?

Speaker 3:

Oh man, I got to go look at my app. I'm fucking having trouble remembering. I'm trying not to act. To remember this fight actually is what's going on here.

Speaker 2:

You're trying to black it out from your memory.

Speaker 1:

That's probably a good thing. Why? Who won?

Speaker 3:

I do remember, so actually I had bulk 10-9.

Speaker 2:

Me too, I had bulk 10-9. He was the more active fighter, throwing a lot of kicks. But me and the wife rewatched this fight earlier because she hadn't watched it yet, and we both came to the conclusion that, even though Alex was the busier striker in round one, every time Ilya touched him you could tell Like every time Volkinowski took a shot, he reacted to it Like took a step back covered up a little bit more. And when Ilya got hit by Volk strikes, it was just like I didn't even. What was that Like? Did I even get hit right now, even though and you look at his face, bro he had a mouse under his bright eye, he had a cut on his nose, he was taking some shots, but you could not tell watching this fight. And another thing I thought, dude, I thought that Volk was a step slower.

Speaker 3:

I just thought he wasn't pressuring like I thought he was. I thought that too. Either he was going to come out and just fully Ilya, like he does, just put him up against Cage and team up.

Speaker 2:

That never came up at all, dude. So was it he slowed down, or is Ilya that much faster?

Speaker 3:

And then I think he's more precise.

Speaker 2:

And then dude check this out. So he was beating up that leg in the first round. Yeah, that fact, like that lead leg right there, his left leg, he probably hit, kicked it like four times two times in the first half of the round and then two times in the second half of the round. But after like the second or third time he took that leg kick, he started switching stances and when he switched stances it was almost like easier for Ilya to come in and land more shots.

Speaker 3:

Well, I think he was closer to his power.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, bro, exactly. And then he, because he was getting touched up so much, Volk, had no choice but to try to go back into that stance and Ilya made him pay, including one leg kick that almost took him down. I think it dropped him or spun him around. No, I think so. Yeah, yeah. So, here we are in round two, and Ilya was starting to cook Volk bro, Sorry cuz. Oh no, look at this leg kick. Also another thing, and the commentators were saying this every time Ilya threw shots, volk would back up and leave his chin up, dude.

Speaker 1:

He was doing that?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was doing that, but I don't think that's what happened here. See, he's got that front lead leg up, but Ilya's like fuck your leg, I don't give a fuck, I'm still coming. Look, and he switched stances, came back back there. It was oh no, that's exactly what we said. That was exactly what we said.

Speaker 3:

Damn dude that was.

Speaker 1:

Wow.

Speaker 3:

The power man.

Speaker 1:

Oh shit. Yeah, it was a quick one too, bro.

Speaker 2:

It was a quick right hand followed up with the left that dropped and looked bump.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

That was it. That was it right there.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that's the first.

Speaker 3:

He started it with the first, and he was down for a while, dude.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, he started it with the left hand, with the left hook, and then he waited a little bit and then followed it up with the right and then on that quick left hook again. Dude, Check this out.

Speaker 3:

Now this is the second time he's been knocked out. Remember, he was knocked out by what's his face? Islam.

Speaker 1:

Oh, this is the last fight.

Speaker 2:

So there he is man, elia and new, bro and new. We got a new champ on our hands, gentlemen, we have a mega superstar on our hands. And after the after the fight, he got on the mic and he's like yo, connor, you want the smoke, I'll see you in Spain. Oh shit, yeah. But you know, I mean everyone's going to call out Connor.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So on the screen right now, I got the top 10 in the featherweight division. Volk is calling for a title, for a rematch. I don't even see a reason to do a rematch. I saw nothing that makes me think there's going to be a different. I think Volk should take a break. Yeah, does he deserve a title shot for show. He deserves one. But let's take a break and let's let someone else fight for a little while. Take six to 12 months off and then see where we're at. He definitely should not have taken this fight, dude. He should have waited till 300, maybe even.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, damn, yeah, man, yeah so.

Speaker 2:

I think that, oh, go ahead, go ahead. I was just going to say Eli already said Max don't deserve a shot. Yeah, you don't. Well, actually I haven't heard him say anything about yeah year, but I heard him say no Max, no Brian, no mobs are. And I haven't heard him say anybody else's name. What do you guys think I would say? Man who should make some?

Speaker 3:

mix. The one that makes it make makes the most sense to me, and the one that I want to see is Yied yes.

Speaker 2:

Yes, fonzo, yes, and if you listen to the interview Yied did last week on the MMA hour with Ariel Hawani, he made it loud and clear who he wants to fight after he wins this next weekend. So we don't got to wait very long. This next Saturday Is that the Comain? It is right, brian Ortega and Yied Dude.

Speaker 1:

I think it's going to beat the dog shit out of Brian bro oh damn. What do you guys got?

Speaker 2:

in that one. Who do you guys got? I got you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but what if there's an upset? What would you do?

Speaker 2:

That was all wrenching everything, bro Right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, but.

Speaker 3:

Brian is still number four. So then I mean, then I would give it to you, he would take his two, and then it would depend on what happens with Max.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. Yeah, is Max? Is the way that Max had to put on for his next fight going to be a little hard for him to take off? Is he going to stay at lightweight, or is he just going to do that one time and then come back down? I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But should Yair win like he should, I'm pretty sure he's going to win. I would love to see Yied and Elia in Spain. Dude, that would be freaking killer. Dana White would be jizzing to the max, bro, just oh, oh, man, all right, all right. Well, that was the last fight, gentlemen. We got UFC Mexico City next weekend, so lots of stuff to talk about. Man, gentlemen, any closing comments for everybody out there?

Speaker 3:

Oh, man Can't wait for this weekend, man, some good, good fights. Well, this next fight, night card, can't wait.

Speaker 1:

Yes, because yeah, man, I'm definitely going to watch this weekend. Don't got anything planned, so yeah, I'll be watching this weekend.

Speaker 2:

Sure, maybe we could do a fight companion for the last two fights We'll have to totally block it out, but we could do it. You know what I mean. Maybe we could do a chat with everybody, get a live chat going, see what's up, let's let's try it out. Let's try it out All right. Fight companion on Saturday for UFC Fight Night, mexico City. Thank you everyone for joining us. Thank you for the new subscribers, new viewers. I know you guys like that. Oh, actually, I want to apologize for our fight companion, for who's number one? I quickly uploaded it up and someone was like yo, bro, this is cool for five frames, five frames per second. Then another guy, then somebody else, was like yo, it's like watching a flip book. So, my bad, I apologize. It did have its moments, but if you can bear through power through, just fast forward through those parts where my fucking Starlink was buffering, and next time I promise I will cut all those out because it does like. I was thinking, dude, I was like I didn't want to cut it out because I thought that it would mess up the flow of the fight, but it already fucked up the flow of the fight, so it didn't even matter. That was stupid. I apologize, guys, and I promise I will do better. So again, thank you everyone for joining the crew. Thank you for subscribing until next weekend or next Monday. Jingasso's combat crew out. Peace y'all See you there. I'm not surprised. Oh Jesus, nathias, you just shook up the world. How's that feel? Hey, I'm not surprised. Thank you for watching.
