We got some boxing check MMA, check UFC News, check even jujitsu, cheesema. That's right. Jigitsu rumors, and I actually think that's where we're gonna start. So I'm hoping everyone out there is having a wonderful, wonderful week Hopefully, you got to catch up on all them fights. But if you did, I got all the results for everything that you're gonna wanna care about. One more time for everyone out there listening and watching. Thank you so much. If you wanna catch this video version of this podcast, head over to our YouTube page at c underscore combat crew. You wanna listen to the audio version of this, head over to any of your favorite streaming platforms at Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, any of those Chingassos combat crew, or you can even head over to our website at chingassos combat crew dot com. Let's get this party started. Here we go move. I caught this baby a few days ago, so I might be a little late on this. However, It's news nonetheless, as I like to say. Breaking news out of teen, Milky Galval. Milky Galval, obviously, the dad of Mike Mike Gavaugh. Mika Gavaugh. I'm sorry. Who had been tearing it up, kind of been quiet as of lately because of you remember, he got suspended for little steroid use, possibly just undisclosed substances found in his system, I guess. So he took a year off and he slowly been coming back but not making too much noise. Well, It's been yet business as usual and there's been plenty of rumors coming out about Milky. I'm not gonna get into it because I'm not into that game. Just let me tell you that it's bad bad stuff. It's not looking too good. If you wanna look get up for yourself, you can head over to Reddit and just type in Milky Galval's team. And you'll find all kinds of stuff, including in this thread that I'm using right now, scroll down into the comments and someone dropped some links on some screenshots on some back stories. So fast forward to what's recently happened, and three high level black belts have just announced that they're leaving the team. And those three people are none other than WorldJitsu champion, IVJF world champion and ADCC vet. I think he's a a silver medalist in ADCC, if I'm not mistaken. But that's by Felicia Andree, super awesome jujic that are very, very fun to watch. Brandon Larissa, which I believe is his wife, maybe or girlfriend, and Luis Paulo, So I'm not sure where they're gonna be going, wherever they're gonna be going. Not sure if they're gonna stay as a unit, but whatever team they're gonna go to, even if they all end up on different teams. That their teammates are definitely gonna benefit. So wish you knew the best. Not sure why they left, but, hey, that's neither here nor there. Yo. You know, all things come to an end. And their run at Team Melky Galpao is over So let's see what happens. Alright. Next story. Whoa. Been waiting and waiting and waiting for this. This news keeps popping up every now and then. But now, this is Don Davis. Don Davis of PFL. And he tweeted earlier this week and said, our app, PFO, M and A team focused one hundred percent on building the company in the rare months from July when we don't have five minutes. So August, which starts, like, in two days or actually tomorrow because you're listening to this one Monday, hopefully. So August look out for a PFL big announcement that changes the global market of MMA. So where on the street is that PFL is gonna purchase Belator, and they're gonna announce a huge TV deal. Is that a streaming service is at, like, something that we can watch on TV, that nobody has anymore, but, hey, who knows? Who knows? But we should be hearing something soon And I hope they're listening to this, but one thing that PFO, I hope they do besides purchase be Bellator, and announce a killer streaming service because everybody can watch that as long as you got Internet. But I hope to keep the partnership with Ryzen I hope they keep that partnership where they cross promote. So that would help both of them. And that would instantly give them an event, maybe even two if they push it a little bit. Where they could sell a pay per view and use someone else's roster to help both help boost their sales. You know what I mean? Help their pay per view in. Alright. Moving forward. Next story. Next story. Our homie is back. I announced this last week k one rebirth coming back. If you're into striking, you're into knockouts, tune into this show September tenth. It's gonna be going down found some more details. It looks like they're gonna be doing their k one max style tournaments. So the first one's gonna be obviously held in at the Yokohama arena in Japan, but they also are gonna be holding events here in the states, France, Korea, Thailand, China, Brazil and possibly even Romania. So September tenth Yokohama Arena Here's what they got announced for that card so far. A fifty five kilogram championship out between Akihiro, Kaniko, taking on Masashi Kimura for the third time. So I'm not sure what the record on this. I'm sure they're one in one. So they're going for the trilogy. They're also gonna be holding an a man open way y'all open way tournament. That's right. Open way. No weight class. So anybody can come in as heavy or as light, if that's what you're into. AkihiroConnect oh, I'm sorry. Eight man open weight tournament. Participants named so far, Michael Tournisky, k o k champ, the cock champ. Bringing it in. Ariel Machado, glory veteran, current World Grand Prix champ, Valentin Bordenu, DFS Vet, Lucy, w l f f, w l f vet, and Mahmoud Satori, k one, chap vet, and crush. Champion. And they got two more slots open, but they have not yet announced who's gonna be filling in those spots. So I'll be in I'll be keeping an eye on this. And as soon as the full card gets announced, you know I'm gonna be dropping the news here. And then as we get closer to the bout, Me and the boys will be shared our favorite k one moments, favorite k one fights that you're gonna wanna watch. So definitely tune in for that. So that's something I look forward to. Alright. More jujitsu news, more jujitsu news, NewWave jujitsu pulls out of quintet. Man. So they did announce that they dropped out and they're gonna put in a new team, but the new team has not been announced just just yet. So it says SAKERAVA went on Quintette's YouTube channel. Pope made a video, made a statement, but here's basically what he says. He says, hello, this is Sakura. I've got an announcement to make. I just got word from John Danner here about NewWave. T NewWave told us that they can't make it to the vent to all fans that we're looking forward to seeing them, I offer my sincere apology. So that new wave team's out. No no junkaro bulldani, no ice to Michelle, so we're just gonna have to wait a little bit longer for them. And but word on the streets is they're gonna invite a killer high level team. So let's see who they bring in, man. They they bring in gosh. I don't know. Brazilian fight factory, that would be a nice little squad, maybe a team at those. I don't know. B team. See what they do. Let's see what they do. Bonso, did you watch this last week's episode of Ultimate Fighter season thirty one episode nine? No, Frank, I didn't. God. Damn. Well, Fonzo, good thing you didn't waste your time. There wasn't very much Nobody out there missed much. Let me give you the breakdown of what happened on this episode. So the episode, I believe, started off because this was on Tuesday. This was a while ago. But again, a very un pretty much uneventful episode. Guys come back to the house after the final fight. Ended because that was to signify the end of the first round. So as they got home, they walked in and the next round announcements are up on the wall, which is kinda cool. But all the guys were wondering had one thing on their mind. It really didn't seem like they were worried about the matchups because they knew they were all gonna have to fight each other no matter what. So one thing that they were the most the thing that they seemed to be most concerned with though was having to switch teams a lot of the guys on Team Chandler did not wanna go over to Team Connor for whatever reason. Everybody seemed to have their own reason. There was one guy on Team Chandler that had no problem, and he immediately jumped ship and went over to team Connor. I deep I believe that was, like, Brad Kota or Kedota, I believe is the guy's name. He won his first round match. He is a training partner. He is a training partner of Connor, and Connor's coach is his coach, so it was only a matter of time before he did that. But everybody else agreed to stay on team challenge. They said they don't care if they continue to to train with each other. They don't care if the guys if the person they're gonna be fighting, sees them training, they did request maybe during certain times of training that they have some private time. But other than that, They're not moving. They're sticking around and staying with channelers. So episode ended up going on. The first bite of the semis was Austin Hubbard taking on Roosevelt. Roberts, this was two again, two veterans, two team chander teammates, two guys who have both have a lot of experience in the UFC, but this fight was just like a snooze fest. They I think they ended up going three rounds. I don't even know every single round seemed to be the same. They did stand in vain and they would take it down Officer Roberts would have landed a couple shots. He did have some dominant positions, but neither guy landed super clean shots. Neither guy knocked neither guy took anybody down with shots even though they did there were some takedowns. By Hubbard. But it was just a really boring fight. Dana White was not a fan. Show ended thankfully see what happens in the next episode. Yo. Everybody was has been pumped for the UFC, I what is it? Two ninety three show? That's supposed to be going down in Australia, down in the Outback, Main event supposed to be Israel out of Sonya, and we all wanted thought and wanted it to be DDP, Drigas duplisys. Drick is pronounced that his foot is busted up, so he's not gonna be able to take the fight. So our boy shot strictly stepped in and said, yo, I'm available and all seemed like that was gonna be the main event. And this last week, Sean Strickland, tweet. A fan asked them something and he said, yo, man, UFC don't want this. So for whatever reason, UFC's kind of pumping the brakes on this. And the clock is ticking on this, man. The clock is ticking, who who's this gonna be? Then is it gonna be Driggers? Can't be Robert Whitaker now. I don't I don't know who this is gonna be. So either they're they're playing games or they're trying to lowball Sean Strickland I'm pretty sure it's gonna have to be Sean. So, like, again, I like I said, the clock is ticking where, like, four, five, under six weeks for sure away from the show. So we'll see what happens. We'll keep our ear to the streets. I'll be looking at Reddit. I'll be checking out the tweets. I'll give you updates as soon as we hear Judith Dettles. We're not Judith Dettles no more. We're combat crew. My bad, yo.

Speaker 2:

This is so

Speaker 1:

so good right here. I cannot believe this. I know I know UFC dropped major major news. I mean, isn't it always this way though, like, after a heartbreak, you get something better. Like, hey, this is why things happen. Don't ever doubt y'all. Trust the process. Someone's in charge, and they know what they're doing. So last week, a couple weeks ago, we were all but her because Umar Namarga Medoff got her had has to have that shoulder surgery so he's not gonna be able to take on Corey San Hei in. So UFC plucked Rob Funt out of his fight against Sung Ji Dong, and placed him up in that matchup. So it's gonna be Corey Sanhagen taking on Rob font in that Boston UFC show. But unbeknownst to everybody, really, what happened? What song to talk was also her? I'm not sure what entry he sustained but for whatever reason he was not gonna be able to make the show. So guess what? Two pieces fell out. Two pieces come together. We get the Rothblanc Corey San Hegelveld, and now we're gonna get Umar Norm Norma Gono. Dude, why can't I say that name ever? Norma Gomez. I'm gonna leave that one to Fonzo next time. So Umar, taking on Songica dong, Umar, number eleven, taking on song you don't number a a. This makes a lot of sense and it's gonna be a banger. This is gonna be such a good fight. Stay tuned for when this is gonna go down. I don't know if this is gonna go down in September, October. I'm not sure because it was announced. Just on the same day that this was announced. Let me show y'all. Damn. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Double Banger alert, Brett, automotive tweeted that UFC fight night going down September twenty third got two I don't know if this is main event, co made event, but this is your two fights that are gonna be going down on that show Number twelve, Bryce Mitchell, Arkansas. Taking on number thirteen, and Dan, the Phoenix Eekay, Dan, back for another round of fun, dropping bombs in his last fight. Dude, what a good fight that was? I forgot the dude's name, but he fought the dude from Tennessee, the guy that talks like a pro wrestler, Nate Nate something, but that dude's awesome too. Nate the train, something make the train. I'll look it up later because he's worth it. Let's see when that guy gets back in the cage. But in the meantime, we got Danny Gay taking on Bryce Mitchell. And, dude, how cool is this matchup? Matthijs camera, taking on Rafael disease, Shrek versusgrappler match? Yo. These boys are gonna come to bang. There's gonna be a five round five for sure because one of these is gonna be main event. So pretty sure it's gonna be the Matayas and Rafael fight. So they both better come in with a full tank of gas. And no Matayas is gonna come ready to wrestle Rafael's got pretty good takedown defense. And if he can keep it on the feet, that's gonna be bad news for Gamora because he was get beat up against Tarrant. Was it t rex? Or was it tarantula? I think it was tarantula in his last fight. Yeah. So, yeah, two fights that are gonna be double bangers for sure. Stay tuned to that, and maybe we'll do a partly super show for that, man, because that's gonna be fun to break down. Yo. I don't know if you caught this yesterday for UFC two ninety one, but Uncle Chow was back on the commentary team He wasn't on the pay per view or the pre land portion of the show, but he was on the commentary portion, like, the pre the pre show post show episode with the crew. And, hey, it's good to see him back. It's good to hear him. He's always got wonderful insight, lots of good back stories. You know being a fellow fighter, a lot of the guys trust him, and tell him things that they're not gonna tell the average reporter So it's good that they brought him back, man. I I love seeing him. I love hearing him. I hope this is they bring him back for every show. Because he's just fun to watch and let's see how it goes. Let's see if they keep doing this, man. Yeah. I pumped the show up so much, man, and I didn't watch the entirety, the entire show, but I did catch a couple of them that I did catch Main Event, Coleman Main Event. And this show just did not live up to the hype, man. Did not live up to the hype. Let me go over the card with y'all real quick. We had Andre Korchkov taken on Laurence Larkin, Magomed, Magomedov, taken on Danny Sabatello, Kana, Watanabe, taken on Vida, Ardiaga, Kiyoji, Horiguchi, taken on Makoto Takayashi, Patrikey Pipple taken on Roberto Suzah, last minute replacement. And here are our results for the show. Andrey Korchkov wins by split decision over Lawrence Larkin. Magomed Magomedov defeats Danny Sabatello by Goyatene, Round one at the three fifty five minute mark, Kanawara Navi defeats Veda Artyaga, the unanimous decision, Kayoji Horgucci, Makoto funerary, ends with an eye poke. So that would goes down as a no contest and they didn't even get to scrap for a minute, not even thirty seconds. It happened at the twenty five minute mark. So, yeah, doctors jumped in, didn't let it go on, so I'm sure they'll reschedule that one. So stay tuned. And the main event was also a bout that was, you know, last second replacement, Patricia Fieri. This was supposed to be Antonio McGee taken on Roberto Souza. Instead, it's Petriky, and Petriky scores a round three t k o. So I got a clip for y'all here. Check it out. This is the end of She's just

Speaker 3:

tried to shoot a couple of times.

Speaker 1:

So for those of you out there listening, looked like Petriky had been doing this the entire fight. He's just chopping at Roberto DeSousa's legs off fight. It's around three, four minute mark. Who knows how many of these late kicks Roberto took, but this was this was like the one that broke the camel's back and he's just

Speaker 3:

a couple of times.

Speaker 1:

Low late kick right on the right low late kick to Roberto's left leg and Roberto just drops. Pertruded, he immediately pounces on Roberto with some strikes. I think he glanced like two Three more in the seat. One. Bravo. Two, three, and the rep steps in to call it at round three. So Petriki finishes Roberto. Hey, it wasn't the fight that we were supposed to get, but it was a fight and it was a finish. So, yeah, pretty good. See what happens next. Maybe Bell Tort gets bought by PFL and they do this again. They run it back next year. Maybe a New Year show even. Yeah. Alright. Alright. Here we go. Bull. Banger of a fight. Let's switch you a little bit of gears here talking boxing. Last night, one of the most hyped up boxy matches in in a long long time. Boxing bringing the heat one more time, and they've been they've been having some banger of a fight, and this one is, like, at the top. Y'all talk about Earl Spanish junior taking on Jamal Crawford for Earl Spencer's welterweight championship, I believe. Both guys coming in, undefeated. Both guys coming in, ready to wreck shop. I know Earl Spence have been talking mad trash all week, not only to Terrence Crawford, but also to his coach, calling him a lot of just bad stuff, man. Almost just being a bully, like, really toeing the line of just dude. Why? Leave him alone already, bro? So at Terrence Crawford, I don't know if he took that personally or not, but all week long, he'd been saying that he's gonna go fishing and that he was gonna have a fish fry on Saturday and that big fish he was going fry was gonna be Earl Spence. So I don't know if you got to watch this fight. But peak this. If you're look if you're watching this or if you're listening this, if you're watching this, or you're listening to this. Take a peek. I'm sorry. If you're watching this, take a peek at his shorts. Terence Crawford has fishing net fishnet, a fishnet on his shorts. So that's the net that he was gonna use to catch this fish. And sure is shit, dude. This dude dominated the earl. Usually, when you get two guys at the top of the food chain in fighting whether it's MMA or boxing, it's usually a pretty slow fight. It's usually a pretty boring fight because neither guy wants to give in. Neither guy wants to lose. So it almost ends up turning into, like, Olympic boxing where they're just point fighting. But that's not what happened here. No. Not at this is not what happened here, man. Terence Crawford came to Bang. He brought the heat in both hands. In that left, in that right, whatever he chose to use. He was dropping. He dropped Earl with hooks. He dropped him with jabs. He dropped him with straits. I got the end of the the finish of the fight here. Let's take a peek at it, man. This was just like like I said, Crazy

Speaker 4:

I can't get cold there trying to land

Speaker 1:

these shots. But here's the finish Nice round. Control if it to finish y'all Terrence Crawford sizing up Earl's bed.

Speaker 5:

He'll be looking for it. If you can see Earl's

Speaker 1:

These are the strawberries.

Speaker 5:

For him right now. He's could be it.

Speaker 4:

He's on

Speaker 1:

skates long. And the ref jumps in.

Speaker 4:

They're trying to land his own shots. Just just need to please shut it from profit to finish it off.

Speaker 5:

You'll be looking for it in the remaining Thirteen seconds.

Speaker 1:

Skaven is all, man.

Speaker 5:

He's going to himself. He opened himself up with me yet.

Speaker 1:

Try to throw that overhand left in tears, took advantage. Straight.

Speaker 5:

The points all over. But Brofen, Pennsylvania history.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Terence Crawford, congratulations, undisputed bro. Love seeing it. It was a great fight. If you didn't get to watch it and you do have a Showtime subscription, I'm sure it'll be on next week. And if you don't have a Showtime subscription, They're always giving out thirty day trials. If you listen to morning combat podcast with Luke Campbell or I'm sorry. Luke Thomas, and Brian Campbell. Luke Campbell's from two live crew, I think. That's a different podcast. If you listen to Morning Combat, I believe they always offer a thirty day free trial. So go check that out, try to get that code. And next week, you can watch this banger of a fight. Because it was totally worth watching. It was on at the same time as UFC. It was hard to choose what to watch. But, hey, you got to see a little bit there. And yeah, good ass fight, man. Good good fight. Alright. UFC two ninety one, you guys remember on Friday, I only my UFC two ninety one, partly Super Show. And here are my picks. I said Derek Louis FERC is versus Marcus Rohitio Delima. I went under the Gabriel born Feen Treven Jalsphi. I chose the over Steven Wonder Boy Thompson Michelle Perida. I went Wonder Boy t k o k o, but that fight got canceled. I also went Alex Perreta by Wynn and Alex by k o or t k o, round two or three. And then I ended up splitting my bets. I originally had said I was gonna go two hundred on dozen by k o t k o around three, four, or five, but I split it. I went one hundred on Justin, one hundred on Justin. Didn't matter. Didn't even need that much time. I went one hundred on Justin for k o t k o around three, four, or five. So let's see how I did. Let's see how I did. Lewis made short work of Rosario Delima gets the k o at thirty three seconds. So I went the I went three hundred and ninety bucks on the under, which paid me back a cool two hundred. I went the over on the Bon Feen Trebon Giles fight. I was like, yo, for sure, Trebon Giles gonna be able to last, but he didn't. Bomphine gets a sub around one, one thirty three. Perda gets the win, but he doesn't didn't get the finish the way I thought. So I still get the win, the money for the win. So that was one zero five. And then I did Justin I'm sorry. Yeah. Justin gets the finish in round two, but I went round three, four, or five. So I didn't get anything there even though I'm showing a nine hundred dollar win. No. That didn't happen. Keep dreaming maybe next time. So if it would have went one more round, I would hit that, but nah. Neither let that's neither here nor there. Let's move on to the fights. I'm only gonna talk about the bangers, the bangers. So if you're watching this on YouTube, I'm not sure if you if YouTube's gonna catch this or not, they might want me to cut out all these highlights that I'm about to share. So if excuse me, if you wanna catch these clips, head over to our social media pages whether you're you're an Instagram person, or a TikTok person. There it is on the screen. If you're an IG person, hit over to c underscore combat crew, or if you're into the TikTok, go to c combat crew altogether. C combat crew. So you can check out these clips and I'll upload them individually. So You don't miss a bang. Let's get into this. Here we go. I'm a start with the fight that kind of stole the show actually. Stalled the prelim portion at, for sure, the prelims were broadcast on ABC. This was like the second or third fight of the prelim portion. Talk about Roman copy log, taking on Claudio Ribeiro, dudes. This was a banger. Check out this show. Check out this finish. This is early second round. The Federal confessed the water with that little late kick. Little more kicks. Copy log. They've been watching.

Speaker 6:

They've got him going

Speaker 1:

out there. He's a copy log population in the distance.

Speaker 7:

Well, later tonight, you may have heard on paper videos.

Speaker 6:

When they got him hurt.

Speaker 1:

Look at that, he was like, Leon Edwards, Meco crew comps now.

Speaker 7:

Well, later tonight, you may have heard on pay per view.

Speaker 8:

Like, when they got him hurt,

Speaker 5:

he let cop you off off the hook a little bit.

Speaker 7:

Well, later tonight, you may have heard on pay for review the

Speaker 1:

Who needs his mouth? If you are not watching this. Head over to the YouTube page. Head over to IG. Head over to TikTok. Make sure you do not miss this highlight real. If you didn't get to watch it live, you got an ESPN plus account a or you DVR to go back and watch it definitely. It might have snuck by you. This is an early fight on the prelim portion again talking Roman. Copialop, taking on Claudio, Roberto. Roman's definitely gonna be on a lot of people's radar now. I bet you were gonna see him rank for sure, especially with a finish like that. And if not, we'll probably see him soon because he did look like he broke a sweat even though he did take it into the second round. So excited to see what we have got new prospects coming up.

Speaker 2:

Alright.

Speaker 1:

I think we got one more prelim fight we're gonna be talking about. Oh, yeah. Gabriel Bonfie, taking on Trevor and Giles. I talked about this a little while ago. I went with the over on this because I thought a veteran would be able to survive for five and a half minutes. I was wrong

Speaker 5:

wrong.

Speaker 1:

I know mister president. I know you don't gotta rub it in. It don't matter. We were in for a tree in this fight, dude. And ladies, both feet came out like a bat out of hell trade out of Alex Pantos' book just came in and got right in Trevor's face. Sorry. Throw in bombs. Trevor had no idea what to do. There was nowhere to run. Nowhere to go, he eventually got taken down. And Boofin waited. It almost like he baited Tremont to get up because as soon as he got up, he exposed his neck for a little while, and both of them just pounced on it. Let's take a look at it. That's what let me show you what I'm talking about. Let me show you what I'm talking about. Let's go to this finish highlight real right quick here.

Speaker 5:

Early. Early in the first, both guys are dry. And this man has tremendous submission skills.

Speaker 9:

We've seen it, you know, he had a mounted jet team, I think, in his competitive series of parents to earn his contract.

Speaker 1:

Three let's see. Let's watch one more time. He almost like he lets him get up so that he'll keep first touch back. Look. There it is.

Speaker 9:

Vend the series appearance to Earnest Conference. I think it was consensus series appearance.

Speaker 1:

No space. Lots of space. They took you to your head. In your head.

Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. That's bad. That's so tight right away.

Speaker 9:

Then the series appearance to earn his contract,

Speaker 1:

and he just pounced on it like a gator pulsing on like a gazelle getting a drink of water. Like, soon as he grabbed that neck, he knew it was done. So sorry, Trevor. Thank you for taking my money, but looks like we got a new contender in the Walter Way division, man. He is a monster. Welter waits, Watchout, pay per view portion of the UFC opened up Tony Ferguson taking on Bobby the King Green. This was hard to watch, man. You could totally tell Tony had definitely lost a step, probably two. This might have been the last time we see him in the UFC because, you know, at least in his last five losses, we could have said, like, hey, he's fighting the top with the cream of the crop. Of course, he's gonna, you know, lose, but this time was definitely a step down in competition. No disrespect to Bobby, but it was compared to Michael Chandler, compared to Justin Gagey, you know, so on and so forth. But didn't it matter because Bobby Green was always a step ahead. He was never in trouble. I can't I lost count of the the amount of times Bobby was walking around with his hands down and just throwing punches. But the one thing that I said could not happen ended up happening. I said that Tony was a threat on the feet. No. I said Tony was a threat on the ground. No. I said, Bobby was a threat on the feet, and he kinda was. But even though he didn't really get close to finishing Tony on the feet, but I definitely said that he was not a threat on the ground. I don't know if he heard me or not, but he took it to the ground and he finished it there. So Let's go over the finish here. Check this.

Speaker 5:

Yes. Oh my goodness, Amanda's pressure. It's tight. He has

Speaker 1:

Armed triangle. Round three, and he almost made it out of the rim.

Speaker 10:

He's trying to pass. He passed.

Speaker 5:

Oh my goodness. Tony stopped. And Oh, I didn't love when you wanna do that. Whoa. What is he gonna he's just fucking and moving.

Speaker 10:

Oh, my goodness. This is time. He's okay.

Speaker 1:

It was almost like Tony was daring him to try to finish him because he didn't really defend it like he should. You know? As soon as Bobby Green stepped over until full mount, it was over the path.

Speaker 10:

He's trying to pass.

Speaker 1:

It's like he was cool. He was cool. I don't know why Tony doesn't cut a whole month's hand.

Speaker 5:

His hat's hard a little bit longer.

Speaker 1:

You almost just let him out on purpose.

Speaker 5:

Gave a thumbs up. Look at him. Look at him moving.

Speaker 10:

Oh my goodness. This is time.

Speaker 1:

Man. Seven seconds left in the third round and he goes out. So shout out, Bobby Green. Congratulations. You did what nobody else really could could do. I mean, I think Nick did sub him last time around. But if you go over Tony Ferguson's resume in his l's, nobody subbed him. I think most of them are TKOs and finish and submit and decision. So congratulations, Bobby Green. And if this is the last time we see Tony Elgukui Ferguson in the Octagon. Hey, thank you for the memories, Tony. Let's see what what's next for you, my man. I hate to see you go out taking any more damage than you need. Much more damage than you need. So Let's see what you do next, bro. Excited to see what you what you can do because you're you're a talented fighter. I know you're you got some crazy ideas up in your head. Let's see what comes out. Alright. Next fight was Oh, this was a fight that was supposed to be on the prelim portion of the card. I'm talking about Derek Lewis, Marcus, or head your dilemma. Once the Wonder Boy Thompson and Michelle Perida fight was canceled, because Perida didn't make wait, they moved this fight up to the pay per view. And total side. No. I don't have this in the in the slideshow, but I heard and read that the UFC didn't give Wonder Boy his show money. I mean, I know he's the one that that said, I'm not gonna fight him, but he's the one that made way. That's kinda messed up. You know? After the UFC's just had the killer year that we all know they've had. We know they got money in every drawer in the office. Why not just give wonder boy his show money. I don't know. Kinda messed up, but maybe the u I'm sure the UFC's gonna put Wonder Boy on a card real soon and and give him the chance to get that money back. But That was a chance for the UFC to step up and be the nice guy, to the nicest guy in the UFC, and they didn't. So, oh, well, they better hopefully, they make up for it. Maybe they'll buy them a corvette or something. Alright. Getting back to this next fight. Derek Lewis, Marcus Rohitio Delima, This may have been the last time we see Derek Lewis in the Oxcon because I think he gave his retirement speech. I don't have that, but I'll save that for next week show, and we'll break that down with Fonzo. But let's watch the finish. Derek gets the finish early. I think it was like thirty three smaller Willie. Did you see that French

Speaker 5:

Oh, shit. It's Willie.

Speaker 2:

Therakon's thunder's thunder, which name.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god. And John Anik nails it. That was a switch knee.

Speaker 2:

Tearing close on his moves, which do.

Speaker 5:

Terrible after. Damn down again. Cool.

Speaker 11:

He's not trying to hit the escape that covers up now.

Speaker 1:

Derek Glues dropping hammers right now, y'all. Hammers. Man. So let me let me break this down for you all. Derek Lewis immediately starts to fight by running across the cage and throwing a blind switch knee, which lands flush. Rohitio hits the floor, Lewis pounces and starts dropping hammers, and O'HADIO starts going for a heel hook. Bad bad decision, bro. That was

Speaker 5:

What a stupid son of him.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. President. Exactly. He shouldn't have done that because Derek just starts raining shots and then he gives up on that heel hook and Derek just falls right into mount, starts raining shots. Then Delima somehow is able to get up, turtles over, and then Derek just finishes it from there. And the ref comes in to stop, save the day really. So let's watch this one more time. Again, head over to your YouTube page or our social media platforms to watch this finish, man. This is freaking amazed.

Speaker 5:

Trying to get after ten seconds to get a trouble.

Speaker 11:

He's not trying to hit the stake that covers up now. That name might have really stunned him.

Speaker 5:

Beach. That's ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

Let's see where that name lands.

Speaker 2:

TerraClop. TerraClop. TerraClop is a man. That was such a thing.

Speaker 1:

Looks like the switch knee landed right under his guard might have got him right in the chin. So well timed by Derek Lewis who came in with a six pack, by the way, I might add. So shout out Derek Lewis. Man, if that was your last fight, that's the way to go out, bro. So looking forward, to what you do what that's here where he does next. If he really does retire, you know? But, man, thank you for the memories, bro. You had a wonderful career in the Octagon. You never let us down. You always gave us a great showing. So thank you, man. Thank you. Alright. Comey an event. Yamba Hobich taking on Alex Perida. This was only a three round fight. For all these FITAP taking place in Utah at high elevation. I almost I feel like after watching him, this was really the only one that you could tell both guys were affected by the elevation. You know, they both kinda seem like they were out of gas, especially beyond. Yawn was really out of gas. I don't know if he used all his tank in that first round. I don't have a clip for this. It was kind of a boring I mean, not a boring fight. It was just it was a tough tough fight. Both guys did not wanna give up first round started with Jan immediately shooting him for a takedown, and he controlled that first round from the get go. Took Alex's back ran the rear naked a couple of times. Alex was able to get out of the rear naked every time and I think eventually he was able to get back up to his feet. Second round, Alex stopped all of Jan's takedowns, kept it on the feet, got the better of him, and he got the better of the exchanges landed more powerful shots. More of the same in round three. Alex ends up taking it with I believe it was a split decision. And now we have a new contender at the light heavyweight division. So there's a lot of talk about Alex and Yuri maybe as soon as Yuri heals up. So we'll see what happens, man. Maybe we'll get to see this early quarter one. Maybe early late quarter one. But yeah. Gonna be a banger dude. Can you imagine both of those guys going at it? Just two crazy mobiles that don't give a rip. I'd love I'd like to hear what Alex says about what how about how he feels he did, how about how he felt during the fight, about how he felt not having to cut as much weight, how was his energy level, and if the elevation did play a factor in his not being able not being able to fully push the pace. Like, maybe he wanted to, like, a lot of us expected. So, yeah, I'm gonna check that out and see what he says. Alright. Main event main event for the b m f, Jorge Masvidal, was in the house and he was gonna give put the strap on the winner. It didn't take long for this one, for the dust to settle. Just engage. He gets the finish. Let's watch this, man. I don't even want

Speaker 5:

to talk.

Speaker 6:

It's really benefited from just shoes.

Speaker 1:

My style, which is two ways. Mace This is

Speaker 6:

kind of a dragon making

Speaker 3:

a level that started really weird.

Speaker 1:

First round was a little bit of back and forth. They were both kinda just feeling each other out.

Speaker 8:

And those victory,

Speaker 1:

but in the second round My song. AFTER THE

Speaker 9:

FIRST MINUTE

Speaker 1:

PASSED FROM NOW. Reporter: J. J. J. J.

Speaker 1:

And Justin Lance, a right kick that he was hiding behind a left jab because he was just, like, stabbing at Dustin. Stabbing at Dustin, and Dustin dropped his left hand for just a brief moment. And that's all the time. Just the

Speaker 7:

from now about a minute. Come by round two.

Speaker 1:

Actually, he didn't even drop, but he just moved it slightly and that was enough space for just for Justin to slide that kick in check it out. There's a bonafide star. Because his left hand is earned

Speaker 7:

from now about a minute come by round two.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Justin Gagey gets the finish in round two. Jorge Masbidal did not wanna put the bell around the waist of Justin Gagey and instead just put it over his shoulder. What a sore loser, bro? I know Justin's your boy. But, hey, hopefully, when Justin puts the belt on the next BMF winner. He doesn't do the same thing and he fully puts it on on that. But, hey, what a good fight? It's gonna go down in history Look for clips coming up the but hole for sure. I'm gonna be posting one. So keep your eyes peeled. Combat crew. That was it, man. What a great weekend of fights.
