Speaker 1:

Alright, welcome to this week's episode of G-Gasl's Combat Crew. You're one stop shop for all your combat news. We've got another stacked week of all the combat news you are going to be caring about the most. I got my boy, fonzo, here to help me chop this news up. Brother, what are you most excited about this weekend? How are you doing?

Speaker 2:

Doing good, man Doing good. You know what I missed watching the fights this weekend. Live One FC was on Friday. Yesterday we had a fight night, but I got to catch up on all of it this morning. So, dude, some good-ass fights went down this weekend, so can't wait to check them out, discuss them with you guys and see what's next for all the promotions of all man. There's a lot of things going on, too, that I'm excited for towards the end of the summer. So yeah, dude, hot news coming up, dude.

Speaker 1:

News number one updated card. Francis has gone to Boxing News. Tons of USC stuff for everybody out there listening. Thank you for everybody out there watching. Thank you If you're listening and you want to watch, because you're going to want to watch today's videos, today's presentation for y'all that we hooked up head over to our YouTube page at C underscore, combat crew on YouTube one more time. And if you're watching us again, thank you so much. And if you want to listen to this on the go, because you're doing things head over to any major streaming platform of your choice iTunes, google, podcasts, spotify, all those good things. Check us out, just look for us under Chingasso's combat crew. Fonzo, you ready to get started on this? My friend, let's do it. Let's do it. Let's start it off by talking a little bit of jujitsu. I got some news number one updated cards. For the last couple of weeks I've been a little bit of a fighter in there and I waited for a little while. I don't think the whole entire card has been released yet, other than one card on the pre limb. I think the main card is pretty much full, but let's take a peek at this. So for the pre-limb, we got one of a super duper, high level grappler that a lot of people may not know about, but I remember seeing this dude at 80 CC trials. He was dude. Every time I saw this dude on the mat I wanted to make sure that I was there, because he was electric duty, shooting for takedowns. He's going for subs. Lots of his matches did not last long, and if they did last long, it was super fun to watch. I'm talking about Hunter Colvin. So Hunter Colvin is going to be on the pre-limb portion of this card. That's free fights on YouTube, fonzos, you can check that out. And he's taking on somebody named Sebastian Rodriguez. So I don't know anything about this dude. So I'll be doing a little bit more research over the next couple of weeks to see what I can dig up on this guy, and then I'll be making some pics soon. The main card looks like we're going to be seeing Nikki Ryan taking on Renee Sosa. So Nikki Ryan is the little brother of Gordo Ryan. Freak Aleek taking on Renee Sosa. Buggy Choke expert. Ethan Kreliston, b team member, taking on Dante Leone, who just made his MMA debut last night and took home a W. So big ups to Dante. I'm a big fan of Dante. So that's badass. Keep it up, dante. Can't wait to see you on this card. Also, the co main event of this card is Fiong Deities taking on Jasmine Rocha. Main event of this event is going to be Nicholas Marigali taking on Kainan Duarte in the no G match and a super fight. So they're not really. I mean there's I guess you could say there's a co, co main event and then a co main event and then a main event, because one of these three match, one of these two matches, is going to be the last one and they're not calling one of them a main event and that's Felipe Benet taking on High Sum Rita. So we saw High Sum on the UFC. Oh, what was it? Ultimate fight, pass Invitational or something a little while ago. Didn't look too good, but maybe he's saving it. Maybe he didn't want to show, maybe he didn't want to ball out, maybe he didn't want to show Felipe all his moves, because Felipe was also on the card. He ended up going up against Craig Jones and he lost in overtime. He didn't look too spectacular. So neither one is coming in looking too hot. So they're going they could both be using this to springboard into to look a little bit better in the future. So but no matter what, cards looking pretty good and we should be seeing a finalized cards very, very soon Frank, really quick though You're just you guys.

Speaker 2:

Is that a common practice for just practitioners to kind of like not put on a good show or showcase a whole talent in one fight? So you know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes, if they think that they're like they got a bigger bag coming up or maybe they're eyeballing a competition ahead, like they're looking at, like if they really don't think they're going to do too well against somebody, they might just kind of like sandbag it maybe so that way they can just save it, save whatever they got for the next round. You can't go to war, back to back.

Speaker 2:

No, I get that, but what I'm saying is because this is two different cards. Right, it wasn't like it's at the same night.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, two different cards. But their opponent that they're facing was also on the same card. So I'm wondering if maybe they kind of just like didn't show all their cards because they knew that other person was watching, but then that doesn't make sense because that sets you up for an L.

Speaker 2:

Right, that's the only reason I'm asking, just because, like, if that wasn't practical, it doesn't even make sense. But I just don't see it in like boxing or kickboxing, like yeah, you're right, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, definitely, yeah, all right, but the only reason I could see that playing into effect is if this was a whole long tournament. You know what I mean. Yeah, where like you're not, you don't want to show your whole game round because you want to save it for the finals, but this is neither here nor there, fonzo, no yeah, really weird. All right, bro. I found this meme on Reddit on the MMA Reddit subreddit, not too long ago, earlier this week actually. It made me kind of laugh, so I wanted to share with you. Dude, what do you think about this? Accurate as fuck or not?

Speaker 2:

Oh, let me read.

Speaker 1:

I haven't checked it out. It starts off with like it's like a conversation between John Jones and Francis and Ghanu and Johns is like John says I'm moving up in heavyweight and I'm fighting for $6 million. And then in Ghanu is like well, I'm champion now, john, let's go. And then John's like hang on, wait a second, I want $10 million. And then Francis is like it's been two years and my contract is up in another year, let's go. And then John is like hang on, I'm talking to Dana about paying me 30 million to fight you. And then Francis is like my contract is up, john, and I'm leaving to actually go make 30 million to fight Fury. And then John is like I'm back, baby, and Dana has agreed to pay me a cool 4 million to fight Ghan winning. So I mean it's. I thought it was pretty good. You know what I mean. It's kind of like a little hidden truth there where it's like all of a sudden you got brave fool. Like I know you're not scared, no one's saying you're scared, but why weren't you puffing up before? Like I'm sure you were ready that last, the last six month of Francis is contract, he could have fought dude.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, dude, they they.

Speaker 1:

They let Connor McGregor go fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. They could let John go fight Francis, but I see the total point of them not. I mean they've never done that, they never cross-proaded. Just the chance of them losing is just. Would it be too big for them?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I mean I don't get it, man, it's not gonna damage the sport. You know what I mean. No, like, definitely not like Not, not a little bit, not even a little, no, so yeah, yeah, just don't get. And then John taking three years to move up to heavyweight, I Don't know man that always kind of like why so long? Hey, he's got stuff in his he's got to do stuff, man.

Speaker 1:

He's got a long laundry list of things to take care of. All right, bro, all right. Next story, bro, next story. Oh, I'm sorry, going the wrong way here Having this shit bro. He hasn't said not one thing about this, and I wouldn't either. I wouldn't do, I wouldn't say anything about this either, but it sounds like it's official. Dude, ariel Helwani broke the news earlier in the week and Let me see if I can use, let me give you guys the deets of the fight. So it looks like it's gonna be set for October 28th. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Well, so the people are not watching. What are we talking about? Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the listeners out there. Talk about Francis and Ghanu has agreed to fight Tyson fury. Both sides have agreed. I had the official Money side of it. I guess hasn't officially been announced. I just heard a rumor the other day that said Francis is about to take 10 mil guaranteed and Portion of the pay-per-view. Who knows what that's gonna look like. I don't know if that's official or not, but let's go over the rules that have been leaked so far, because there was all kinds of rumors coming out. You know what I mean, right, eddie herns, a promoter who's not involved with this, and this could have just hit been him thrown shade. He said that there was gonna be like a special no knockdown rule, yeah and like. So he was like it's gonna be boxing, but it's not gonna be boxing. So turns out it is gonna be boxing, it's gonna be Three judges, a ten point must system in effect, regulation rinks, standard boxing rules apply, they said. They've both already said they're gonna. They've agreed to me in the middle and exchange Promoters that are involved with this are Queensbury boxing, top-rank boxing and a little promotion that has just came about Called gimmick fight promotions. Bro, that's it. Francis St Gunn is Take on. He's actually a his little spin on what Dana's been calling this whole fight a gimmick, which I Gotta admit, bro. Now that we're now. We're getting it and I don't know if I want it like. This reminded me of member that time we worked at the science shop and we were so hype about the Carl's Jr Breakfast burger. We talked about it for weeks. We were like I don't know man. It's it's kind of enticing it's. It's a little pricey Cuz. Back then we were like living off of like five, six hundred bucks a month, you know. I mean so that Carl's Jr Might have been likea Breakfast and a lunch.

Speaker 2:

But that's what it was. That's how we talked ourselves into it like bro it is.

Speaker 1:

That's exactly what it is. It's breakfast and lunch and what. And that one Saturday, bro, we did it, remember? We jumped in, we got this burger, we chow down. We went to town, fonzal, tell everybody what was in that breakfast burger that you remember, man, it had everything on it like it was like like it's got bacon, it had egg, had a freakin burger, patty had hash browns and cheese but ketchup I Just it was loaded like the most loaded burger that I ever I've ever had at that point in my life and it was on, it was like on a regular burger bun.

Speaker 2:

It wasn't like on a small, like Breakfast bun, it was like a big fucking Carl's Jr Regular ass burger bun, superstar bun. Yeah, word, word, word.

Speaker 1:

but Soon after bro, soon after what happened, what were we saying to each other? How are you feeling?

Speaker 2:

I was just like man, I can't work today. I gotta go home.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to die I thought my heart was gonna stop.

Speaker 2:

I Was laid down dude is this what it feels like when you slowly?

Speaker 1:

died. Like this is over. Like why did they give this to me? For why was Carl's Jr Give me everything I wanted and more? I didn't ask for this.

Speaker 2:

I was 20 feel like I feel like, feel like now dude after yeah, yeah, it was awful, it was awful. Needless to say, that's one of the very few times in my life where I've gotten everything I wanted and I regretted it.

Speaker 1:

I feel like this, this I might be regretting this, like this, but the houses what? What is this fight gonna look like? Is it gonna be super exciting? We're gonna see high-level boxing. Are we gonna see a knockout? Or are we just gonna see two dudes dancing around like Francis and Francis manager talking about, like dude, he's got so much power, he's so big, but like bro, you gotta carry that weight. For they're gonna go 10 rounds, 10 3-minute rounds, and it's gonna be a marathon, not a sprint. Unless he thinks he's gonna knock fury out, which he could, I think. I think what it's gonna end up happening? Dude first. First.

Speaker 2:

First and second round. Probably you're gonna end up having Francis trying to go swing for the fences Like, yes, that's what it's gonna happen, right, or at least that's what I hope happens, because I don't want to see Derek Lewis Versus was it was in gun who? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want to see that again. I don't already got one of those on his record. I don't want to see that again.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to see that again. I don't already got one of those on his record. We don't need another one though.

Speaker 2:

So you know, I mean, and Tyson fury is gonna try to just keep away with that jab and some some good boxing, that's what he does. Yeah, so you know, I mean, if Francis can't put him away first, second round, it's just gonna be a boring rest of the eight rounds.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I hope that in this time, francis really working on his footwork and some speed, because if he can, he's not gonna outbox him, but he can out, come, can. He can be faster than him, that he can do things that can set himself up to showcase what he's good at, which is dropping those bomb dude, and that's all he's got. He's got a chance. I don't do, would you say he's got more of a chance than Connor had against Floyd. I heard then I heard Beast Brian Campbell ask Luke Thomas that on the yeah.

Speaker 2:

I look, I think he can. I think the best strategy would be to work on his countering more than anything, because I Think that's where you can really get him, because he, I don't think he's gonna be able to be faster than the theory. He's not gonna be able to be as precise as fury.

Speaker 1:

For sure I think he could be faster than him in certain aspects. Maybe not in hands, because I don't know that takes time to develop, but as far as moving around, I think he could be faster than him, maybe, maybe yeah, yeah, I'm thinking, I'm thinking his.

Speaker 2:

If I, if I was in Ghana which I'm not, not by any stretch but if I was in Ghana, I think I'd work on my countering skills, like work on trying to yeah, you know, get him to like beat him, and then work on like those big punches, because that's where it's gonna count. If I can land a big-ass punch while you're coming in, dude, if that can be all over and I can turn around any any round right between one and ten, I can land that big punch. So if I work on my countering skills, that's what I would do if I wasn't gone.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's just got to touch him and stun him and slow him down enough so that he can go. Yeah, and then go get a Carl's Jr Breakfast burger.

Speaker 2:

You deserve it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, bro, with all them all that bag money you got get to dude. Ariel Helwani has reported again that now PFL is about to buy Bellator. They're trying to increase that, that roster. I like it, man, it's like it's. It's probably it's not enough to be like an actual competitor to the UFC. But a I don't watch PFL at all right now, barely, I barely watch PFL. But if you bring over some Bellator guys, dude, I'm gonna watch. I watch Bellator. I watch Bellator a whole lot more than I watch PFL and I know a lot more Bellator fighters than PFL fighters.

Speaker 2:

So that's gonna do a lot, you know, I mean. And then what house? You know what? And that's the other thing I don't know, Bellator, since you know a little bit more than I do on that. What do they have a pretty good heavyweight roster right now.

Speaker 1:

Oh, better than PFL, that least you're running me yeah, yeah, yeah they're not too bad. They got Ryan Bader over there. They got you. Well, romero, they got some guys yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I mean those. I'm just trying to see, like who could they can match up against in Godu, like for an actual MMA fight.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's probably not not too many people that are gonna be able to match up with him, you know. But it's better. It's there more matchups that they have at their disposal right now, that's for damn sure right. All right, all right, all right, all right. Dude Volkanovsky update. So he was fighting the other. When did he fight? Was it just last week? Yeah, it was last week. So apparently he was fighting with an injury, like he had some bone spurs or bone chips Floating around in one of his elbows.

Speaker 2:

Oh.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he's gonna have surgery. I don't know if he he already got it done or he's about to have it done, but his coach says that that he's about to be out for six to eight weeks, and but within that, within that amount of time I don't know if that includes recovery time or Physical therapy time, or just that's how long he's gonna be out and then he's gonna start training. But this he's gonna be ready for October, like ready to fight in October. Yep, they said he'll be ready in Abu Dhabi. That's what his coach said.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't do that's, that's wishful. So where do we in right now? We're in Jail. We're July.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're July two, two months we should just August, September?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, no way, dude.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no way. Yeah, yeah, he's tripping. Yeah, fucking Australians. So in that case then, if he's not gonna fight in October, she's.

Speaker 2:

That was like that was like that time that our old boss at the Science Workshop asked one of our co-workers to make an ice chest out of wood With no liner with no liner just would yeah, damn it.

Speaker 1:

Rudy, I gave you the wood. What else do you want me to give you? Give you the idea, take it and run away. Already, go you know what was super fucked up about that, though, was he actually did make a nice chest he did, and he actually did put ice in it.

Speaker 2:

New surprise when it leaked.

Speaker 1:

Well, how do you know? If you don't try, you miss 100% of the shots. You don't take my man, you're right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, neither here nor there though.

Speaker 1:

That's right. That's right. So, sticking with Volkanovsky. Volkanovsky says that I mean he's already. His coach is already chirping that he's gonna be ready in October. But me and Fonz will just probably put light on that that's probably not gonna happen. But he's saying that he definitely wants to fight one more time this year. So here's the quote. I forgot where I got this. Might have been a MMA junkie or something like that, one of these websites. It says I will definitely still be fighting this year. I want that lightweight belt. Everyone knows I want that rematch with Islam. If not, we've obviously got Ilya. We did a little face-off. Everyone just keeps mentioning that bloke's name. So, yeah, beautiful, let's do it. Aldermain Sterling that's another one. I'll definitely welcome him to the featherweights. I don't think he needs to go through anyone. He can go straight to me and let's see if he takes the loss and stays at featherweight or takes the loss and tries to go back Down the band and wait. We'll see what happens. So he's throwing some names out there. Ilya Aljo hasn't officially said that he's coming up in weight yet, right, has he? Yeah, that's the word on the street. So I don't know, that's probably not gonna happen this year.

Speaker 2:

Dude, but that would be sick, though I think if you're asking me like which, yeah, I'd love to watch Aljo versus Volk, for sure.

Speaker 1:

All right, let me ask you this. Let me ask you this Would you rather see Aljo versus Volk or Volk versus Islam too? Islam too, mmm, that's a good question. I'm gonna put that up this week.

Speaker 2:

I'm gonna start a pull.

Speaker 1:

That's a close one. Yeah, yeah, that's a good one. Man, that's a good one. All right, bro. Next story, next story. Dude, what the f? Is going on here? Bro, Jamal Hill tears his Achilles, has to relinquish that. The heavyweight strap, light heavyweight strap and actually I don't know if he had to he just, he just did it he just did it on his own. He knew he was gonna be out for a while. He's like I don't want to hold up.

Speaker 2:

That's good, that's honorable. Well, that's good.

Speaker 1:

That's because nine times out of ten they're just gonna TJ Dillish all that shit. I'm sorry, well, did I say that out loud? Sorry, sorry, my bad. Yeah, but a year in Yuri projaskar responded pretty much and he just something. Let me just sum it up by saying he said like hey, that's cool, that's honorable. I appreciate what you did and I'll see you down the road somewhere. I guess you know yeah, yeah, yeah so dude.

Speaker 2:

I did a little, I did a little digging, tell us, tell us I.

Speaker 1:

I did a little digging and I found out that. So last week was UFC 290 International Fight Week. You know they got that UFC fan expo right. They do a lot of. They do a lot of things for the fans, a lot of fan interaction. There's demonstrations, there's seminars you can attend, there's meet and greets, photo opportunities, autograph sessions, things like that. But the UFC decided I don't know if this is something they do every year, but this is something they definitely did this year and I don't know if this was streamed. I don't know if this was you had to buy tickets. It looks like they were playing in a high school gym, but they did a UFC basketball game with current and former players. They should have just done former former fighters, bro, should not have included current players.

Speaker 2:

I don't understand the logic of this, this dude.

Speaker 1:

I know I don't understand why, like in pro sports, this happens all the time. I remember there was a super good football player who was playing a flag football game on the beach the day before the All-Star game. He ruptured his Achilles or tore his knee up. He never recovered. Bro, he was a rookie. He never came back.

Speaker 2:

So have you? That just reminded me like I don't watch pro sports other than, like you know, fight sports and stuff like that. Right, but have you seen the show ballers on HBO?

Speaker 1:

I watched the first few seasons. It was pretty good. I liked it because it was almost reminding me of like entourage, but for sports, yeah, it's pretty good man.

Speaker 2:

So there was one episode where they're like one of the football guy, one of the football guys or whatever. He's playing like freaking, what is that? Like airsoft guns or like paintball whatever? And he fucking messes up his knee and he's worried that he's going to get cut from the team or get fine. I forget what the actual story line was, but like because his contract says he can't be playing any sports other than football when he's trained, when he's on the on season.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, some of them have contract like clauses like that that cancel their contract out, yeah, so you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

Like that's kind of just thinking about the same thing. I'm like this is kind of dumb, super dumb.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, terribly wrong dude. So I guess the game must have been like they got a little aggressive. Surprisingly, people said the game was a little tough Dude. I'm sharing the scorecard right now. The score was ended. The game ended 49, 48. Yeah, yeah, I don't know which team, I think Jamal was on the losing team, but yeah, that's where he ended up tearing his Achilles dude, Dumb. So I hope they paid him for that at least. Oh, the winning team got $3,000.

Speaker 2:

Nice, that'll put a 10% down payment on your surgery.

Speaker 1:

That's not even going to cover the Kobe, sorry.

Speaker 2:

Bro One One.

Speaker 1:

Championship at the Doppelbanger of a show on Friday. It started Friday morning while we were all starting our day off with Muay Thai fights on YouTube. I only got to watch the main event. I went back and I watched this dude, did you get to watch any of this at all? I?

Speaker 2:

don't know, dude, I watched the last three fights of the main event this morning. I ended up watching those three.

Speaker 1:

Those are pretty good fights, man. Did you watch the Muay Thai fights or did you watch the MMA fights? I?

Speaker 2:

watched the last two MMA fights and the last fight that I watched was a main event Muay Thai fight.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so that's what I'm going to talk about right now. The main event was Necrop taking on gosh. I forgot the guy's name. Hi God, no, not super lick. It was Necrop taking on gosh. I have it right here in front of me Duh Necrop taking on Peputai. Both dudes represent in Thai and dude. By the way, before we start talking about these fights, all of these Muay Thai fights were with four ounce gloves. They're tiny, I mean. I paid more, most attention to the main event, but I watched like four or five of the fights, dude, and I'm just amazed. I love the way these dudes use the elbow. Oh, yeah. It's almost like a jab. It's not like like we're used to MMA elbows, where it's like six to nine, three to six kind of stuff. You know what I mean. These dudes do like a six to 12 coming in Like you think they're coming in for a straight jab. Next thing you know you got an elbow right in your dome. Bro Dude, they're created with their elbows.

Speaker 2:

So like I love how, the fact how they post their hands up and they'll just kind of use us and then all of a sudden, they just get all of a sudden get that elbow or like off of like a jab and an elbow like it's fucking nuts man it was good the crop was dropping bombs.

Speaker 1:

He's dropping elbows. He's using nasty foot jabs. He's using those hands, like you said, to measure that distance. And these were little ass dudes, man. They're not that big. Necrab is like five, only five foot three, but it seemed like his reach was reaching the dude from across the ring. Dude, he was like dude, is he part those sim or some shit? How's he doing that? So let's check out this.

Speaker 2:

I gotta go check this, fight out because I didn't watch this.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you do. Look at this, bro. Look at these elbows.

Speaker 2:

I'm wondering why this, this the elbows aren't like in this, this style of elbows aren't being used more in the UFC or MMA in general.

Speaker 1:

I mean I don't. I don't understand why, and you know what else I don't understand. I don't understand why Dana didn't invest in Muay Thai instead of slap.

Speaker 2:

Dude, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1:

For sure, dumb dude like these guys are in Thai. They're actually and this was cool, that this really cool because they were fighting in Thailand. They were fighting in Lupini Stadium, like one of the Muay Thai mechas in the whole wide world, so it was just dope to have the show there. You know what I mean? Yeah, but then in the night or in the afternoon one kept the show going with one fight night I think they called it one fight night, 25 or some shit, but the main event was super league versus Kalilov.

Speaker 2:

This is freaking great. Right but another one of those with elbows.

Speaker 1:

So you got to see the main event on this card. Yeah, I did, all right. So for those, I got to see the last three fights in this whole in this card.

Speaker 2:

So the Gary Tonnan and then Amir Alekabiri. Okay, I saw all those three fights. Those are the only ones I got to see.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So then, for those of you who got a prime account, go and watch. Go to prime video and watch this. Watch the main card, because the main card had nine fights. Nine fights out of nine fights, seven ended early, five TKO's, two submissions, five first round finishes. One of the fights that went all to the decision was the Tammy Musimichi fight versus Amanda Allakin, so you could skip that if you want, but there's some pretty good jujitsu. The other fight that went the entire distance was Walter Consolvis taking on Bonma Duoji and bro Bonma just beating the shit out of Consolvis for three rounds. Dude, I think I got a clip for that in a little bit, but I'm going to show you guys. I believe this is Amir Alekabiri. Oh no, this is Konstantin Russo and Bogdan Shumarov Bruh. Watch this highlight Sick ass kicks. That's almost like cro-cop. I was going to say that's cro-cop Like he didn't even you know what I mean Like he didn't even cock the leg back, he was just like almost standing straight up in that right leg, Just goes gu-gu, look at that. Yeah that's it. Put that full on skate. So yeah, that's Bogdan Shumarov defeating Konstantin the Lion Crusher. He just face-plundered. Yeah, he did do so. That was TKO round. Look at that. Yeah, bam TKO bro. All right, let's see what else I got for us Next fight that was on there that I want to share with y'all. Oh, here we go, bro. Walter Consalves, Bon Madooji Bro, this was the like within the first minute or two of the fight. How would you be able to go on if this happened to you? Bam, Right in the dig, Right in the dig Dude.

Speaker 2:

that seemed intentional. There's no way you're going to miss that.

Speaker 1:

Look how, how how you're aiming for that, bro. It was in the opening first round, like maybe the first minute or so, right, and dude, you know what was crazy? You know what was crazy was? He punches him in the dig and then he follows it up with like a couple more hammer fists and Herb Dean like jumps in. After he sees him punch him in the dick, he jumps in and the guy throws in like two more and then he runs off like, ah, like, dude, you know, you just punched him in the D right. Like there's no way, you didn't know, you just did that. And then when Herb Dean walks over and he's like, bro, no, that was like a legal shot we're going to. You got to give him five minutes. He was all pissed off. He was all pissed off because he thought that was a legal blow. But hey, no, big balls to Goncalves to congol this on this one man. He came back and he fought, he tried his hardest, but he was taking a beating for three rounds. So this was one of two fights that went all three rounds, dude. Yeah, sorry, gonzovus.

Speaker 2:

Dirty.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, dirty, dirty, dirty dirty. Next fight that I want to talk about, dude, this was Akbar Agdulyov versus Aaron Tomygun Kanarte. Check this out, bro. Another finish spinning wheelhouse to the guts, and then he follows it up with some strikes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So this was another one that did not go very long, dude, it was 41 seconds into the first round.

Speaker 2:

Look at that. That's just relentless.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, he was on him like a fly on poop dude from the get go. And then he's that like the whole thing started right before that kick I think he caught him with like a straight hard right and then after that he kind of covered up and when he moved his hands up to the to his head, that's when he followed up with that spinning wheel kick right under his back, that kick right under his where his guard was, and obviously it hurt him because he trailed back into the ropes. And then he followed him up with some shots, ended him, followed him, followed him to the ground and it was game over, dude. So that was fun, that was a good one right there. Another easy first round finish. Dude got himself a 50 K bonus. Nice, yeah, colmaine of Ambro. Gary the lion killer, tony making his return against Shamil the cobra Gatsunov. So this was jujitsu versus a sombo.

Speaker 2:

I was going to say and, and freakin Tony was getting his ass for early on, right?

Speaker 1:

It was 10, 10, nine. I gave 10, nine to what's his name to the cobra. Yeah, yeah, he was beating the shit out of it and even in the second round he was.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, those ranks to the head. Oh yeah, he got down. He was some fucking hard ass. Knees to the face.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's like dude. That was like within the first minute, I want to say, because Gary shot him for a shitty take down. He sprawled out, pushed him down and then in one championship you can throw knees to a down opponent. So right away the cobra just started throwing knees. That's why, if you're watching this, you could see those pictures of Gary. His head was split open. That was in the first round. Yeah, he took a lot, a lot of damage in the first round, Wasn't able to do anything. He was lucky that he was able to get up. I think he even had the cobra on his back. Was that in the first round or the second round?

Speaker 2:

That was the second round, because I think that's how they ended up getting to the finish.

Speaker 1:

There you go, there you go. So cobra again was putting in work in the second round, somehow got to Gary's back and then Gary created a scramble somehow.

Speaker 2:

And when they hit the ground, yeah, freakin dude and I heard a version.

Speaker 1:

Did you hear his knee pop? No, his knee pops bro Super loud, and that's when he starts yelling.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So even in the in the in ring interview Gary was saying he heard his knee. He's like I heard it pop. I know it's like no bone damage but ligament damage for darn sure.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was deep from the beginning.

Speaker 1:

Dude, I'm surprised that Gary's been fighting for a while and his standup is trash. He looked awful, his takedowns looked awful. He's not setting them up. He's just thinking he's just going to be able to fight his way in and get them down, and he took a lot of damage. I think he's getting exposed.

Speaker 2:

So here's the deal, man. Sometimes you know what I mean, Like when you. I mean it's just like anything. You know what I mean. There's stuff that you're just naturally not good at, so you avoid doing it, maybe. And then when and the other thing too, when you put when you being put under pressure, you revert to what comes naturally to you, True, you know what I mean. So, like if that's why, when you see him being pressured, he's going to go back to his jits, he's going to go to, like trying to go for a. You know just like, I'm just going to go ahead and you know, get, get, get to the ground. You know what I mean. Like even I'm not going to, even going to try to to take you down, I'm just going to pull guard or whatever it is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm really wondering why Gassanov didn't stay. Keep it on the feet. Why didn't his corner just say dude, just keep it on the feet, don't engage too much on the ground. If you want to follow him down for strikes, go down, but don't get in his guard, don't let him get around your legs, because that's what he does. That's all he's got.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, so we're going to ask JDM that same question though.

Speaker 1:

Hey, we'll see. We'll talk about that in a little bit. We'll talk about that in a little bit. So, main event of this fight was a Muay Thai fight. It was Super Lick, the kicking machine, taking on some, some angry, some angry pre tiger Kylie love bro. This was an ass whooping from the get. Go dude Wasn't even close Dude at one point. Super Lick threw a roundhouse high kick, caught him in the face and before the foot came back down, I swear he like just toes and slapped him before he brought his foot up.

Speaker 2:

It was like oh, it was like that rush hour scene with Chris Tucker getting kicked all the time. Which?

Speaker 1:

one of y'all kicked me. Yeah, it was bad, dude, this was, this was dope, because this was just like a clinic. You want to see what a master Muay Thai technician can do? Watch this fight. It didn't take very long. He gets the TKO at round two a minute and 42, kind of like he was just measuring him up in the first round and towards the very end he just starts pouring it on him.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Leg kicks, elbows, foot jabs, right hands oh dude, just it was a Muay Thai buffet of everything you wanted and more. Yeah so definitely go out and watch it. Check this shit out here I got a little high on.

Speaker 2:

Look at this.

Speaker 1:

Look at that reaction time, bro, and this whole exchange. Look at that spinning elbow. He just moves out of the way His opponent throws two strikes. This whole exchange and he missed them both by a mile.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they had to stop it. That's yeah, because he was. There was nothing he could. He was doing that would. That was showing that he could even be in this fight.

Speaker 1:

No, he was never coming back to like that first spin like that. Guy's tried to spinning back this two times within like 10 seconds. So he's going for a Hail Marys and the first one he just like matrix, that shit, he's just like whoop. Yeah, you know what I mean, dude, just bad ass man. This was such a fun fight to watch. Again, you got Amazon Prime. This is definitely worth your data, definitely worth your time, and it doesn't even take that long, because most of these fights in the district, definitely not man. One thing that we try to do the most, because I know I don't have a lot of time, he doesn't have a lot of time. We know all you watching and listening don't have a lot of time, so we're just going to get you the best, the best fights, the best news that you want to watch, that you want to hear about each and every time, and this is a prime example of one of those things. Don't worry about some of the frills. Bro, if we didn't talk about the fight on this portion of the show, you probably don't need to go watch it. So I didn't watch the prelims. That doesn't mean that there's not knockouts, but, dude, seven out of nine finishes on a main card. That doesn't happen all that often. No, yeah, the more one championships I watch, the more I get excited about it. So I'm definitely tuning into the next show, definitely. Yeah, all right, bro, some Connor McMookle news. I know we talked a little bit about this last week. We said Dana said. We said that Dana said that it'll. You don't matter if he's not in a testing pool or not, usana can just go suck a D. So Connor tweeted out some hints and it sounds like they're going to throw down in December, bro, maybe the last pay-per-view of the year right before Christmas time, because Chalder tweeted also, but all he tweeted was a little Christmas tree, I don't know, man. And McMookle says that it's going to be for the BMF.

Speaker 2:

I don't like this. I don't like this at all. Man, this is just, this is just BS. Dude Like this is Connor. It just it feels like trolling.

Speaker 1:

It's what it feels like. Are you telling me? This is like when, when Chewy told me he had a Super Nintendo and he was like, just help me rake all the leaves, bro, and then we get to go play Super Nintendo. And I was like, well, let's just go play Super Nintendo right now and then we'll finish. He's like no, we got to rake all the leaves first, and then we raked all the leaves and guess what? There's no fucking Super Nintendo.

Speaker 2:

That's exactly like that. That's exactly like that. You have to do all the work for nothing, and what he was? Just holding the bag right, you're the one raking the leaves into the back.

Speaker 1:

Of course, of course, bro, of course, supervising, supervising that shit yeah. I got Connor. I've been getting Connor McBregger before Connor McGregor existed.

Speaker 2:

That's legit, that's stupid.

Speaker 1:

It happens to the best of us. Whatever, all right. Next story, bro Dude, this is kind of cool because we're trying to. You know, we're just dipping our toes into the karate combat world. But hey, guess who's making appearance into the karate combat world? None other than UFC fan favorite Sam Smiling Alvy Looks like he wants to do some karate combat and he's making a prediction. He says I'm going to be a karate combat champion by July 2024. So I think this is cool, dude. Sam Alvy always brought it, dude. He wasn't afraid to exchange. You know what I mean? The game kind of just caught up to him. Too many things to worry about. Everybody in the UFC is just too young for him and there's a lot of older, a lot of older strikers in karate combat, I notice. So there's not a lot of people that are too fast. So this could be a good change of pace for for Alvy, not to say that he's just going to go in and dominate, but he should come in, bring some extra eyes and provide some entertaining fights. I bet, dude, I can't wait to see for him. I can't wait to see what he does. I'm interested as fuck for sure. Yeah, does he have his fight set up yet or not, nothing. Yet I think he must have just signed, because he hasn't he had. they haven't announced anything yet. And even karate combat, I don't think, said anything like hey, welcome to karate combat, or anything like that. So maybe they're just talking. Cool, yeah, all right. Dude, it seems like every week the UFC is due, conor McGregor in us, conor McGregor and us into thinking that we're going to get to see Chamiah, and they just keep pulling the rug on us. Dude, this is like in peanuts, like in Charlie Brown, when Lucy held the football. And she's like Charlie Brown, just come and kick the ball. And he's like no, you're going to move it. And she's like no, I'm not, I'm not. Same thing that my cousin did to me with the Super Nintendo. So what happening with us? With coms at Chamiah and his opponent? They keep switching it around. So is he going to fight or is he not? That's what worries me the most, that the closer we get, the more they keep changing his opponent. Because, as of like, supposedly, who was it supposed to be? Now it was. As of last week, we thought it was going to be tomorrow. No, yeah. So we thought, comes, I was going to be taking on tomorrow in Abu Dhabi. And then last week some I think his manager was like oh, my flight got delayed and he posted some screenshots of what his, his homework was and it appeared to be Jared Cannonier's last fight. So he says he's doing research for coms at next opponent. So now it's. First it was Polo Costa, right, yeah. Then that dropped out. Then all of a sudden it was Kamaru. Then did they were? Did they say Kobe? At one point I don't remember, I think they just jumped to Kamaru, but now they're jumping to Jared Cannonier.

Speaker 2:

Look, I'm not even to be honest, like I'm not even paying attention to this, just because I'm like you know, whenever, whenever we get there, we'll get there, and wherever he fights, he's going to fight, like I'm not, I'm done trying to follow what's going on with this Because I'm not chairs bro, I keep having to change the slideshow.

Speaker 1:

I don't have time to do this, dana, stop messing with us, lucy.

Speaker 2:

Lucy, I'm not kicking the football. You know what? I'm not even playing football, no more. I'm over here playing basketball.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to mess with Sean Shelby. I'm like, bro, I'm making the slideshow right now I'm about to share with Fonzo. Don't make me change this again, All right. So just stop. Stop, Bro. It's seventh week in a row. I'm about to ask you Did you watch tough season 31, episode seven? My man?

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Way to not beat around the bush, my dude Way to not beat around the bush. Well, one thing that has been consistent this entire season is that Fonzo has not watched one episode and Connor's team has lost every single fight.

Speaker 2:

Wait, I did see something on social media though.

Speaker 1:

Well, that's not the same thing, bro. You're not taking the UFC ratings? Oh, I saw Connor being the shit out of his teammates. Oh, bro, we're going to watch that right now. Actually, I got a clip to share with everybody. But even though Connor prayed to Santo La Raulito, right, that still wasn't enough, bro. He needs more Santos. So the season is quickly winding down.

Speaker 2:

He's got to put him on his head full. Let me give you a recap of what happened.

Speaker 1:

So the episode starts off with Team McGregor training sessions. They look like they're sparring. Landon Fignornis, I believe, is the fighter who is supposed to be getting ready for a fight. So Connor's like yo, bro, I'm going to get you ready. You want to get ready? Let's get ready. So here's a clip, Check it out. Connor and Landon sparring. They both have headgear on Connor's like I'm going to give it to him. Connor does look a little leaner here. He's been getting leaner as the season has gone on. I've noticed he posted a picture also like from season episode one to episode seven. He's gotten slimmer, so that's good. I check out this foot jab coming by Connor right here. I Legend shut up and take this kick. Great and dude, it's just like toes right under the rib cage, I bet dude. Huh, it was like right under there, bro, check it out. I Leave the sound on so we can hear it. Yeah, so landon did not end well that training session, but he learned. He learned to get up. He got up. He kept fighting back. The episode went on and seeing that Team chalor ended up having two injuries. Bro, two fighters ended up having to go to the doctor. Uh, one was Cody Gibson member. Cody Gibson fought the mexican guy with the cowboy hat. Yeah so I think Cody's got a mcl tear, no, and the doctor says it doesn't require surgery, but it's gonna eventually. So he says he's just gonna keep fighting through to the next round. So we'll see what happens with him. Jason night, who ended up being lanyking on his opponent on this episode, ended up Uh, I think they clashed heads with another, with one of his training partners, and that split him open. So he ended up having to go to the doctor. He didn't get stitches, but they just put glue in that shit, all right. So they put glue in it and, dude, check this out. This is gamemanship To the max. This is why it's good to have a good coach in your corner. Chalor told uh, jason, hey, when you go back to the house, go make sure that landon sees that shit, because that's his opponent. So he probably saw that cut and that gave him a little like oh, I'm gonna Like. You know what I mean. Yeah maybe he thought that was a chink in the armor. He was able gonna be able to pounce on him like he smelled blood in the water, because the fight opened up and they exchanged. They exchanged a couple shots, landon pushed jason up to the cage and he drops him for a takedown. A big mistake, my dude. Big big mistake because within like I don't know 10 seconds, jason night throws up a triangle, locks it in and it was nights out, bro. Team McGregor stays Defeated. Once again, bro, he just got baited. He got baited, bro. Too much baiting. All right, dude, move in gears out of ultimate fighter. Tough talk. We're talking about one of the guys that Made a huge splash at ufc290 last week. That's the, the man. Alexandria pentosia, pentosia put a beatdown on brandon. Uh, everyone thought that it was going to be the other way around and he gave brandon another donut, I gave him another L and became the champ. He was a guest on ariel helwani's mma hour this past week, dude, and he dropped. Crazy news, bro, crazy, crazy news. He said that a week before his fight with brandon roi vol, which was august of 2021, which is not that long ago. We're not even two years away from that. We're coming up on it. You know it's like a year and 10 months or something, 11 months, yeah. But he says at that time he had a torn ACL. I guess or he's recovering from ACL surgery or he needed to get ACL surgery, but he didn't have enough money for it, so he had to wait On top of that in order to make ends meet. He was working as a fucking uber driver, bro. He was ranked number five in the world at that time, might add you Shit dude. He's been a number, a top five fighter since 2019. So even two years before this he was already top five, but he still had to Work as an uber each driver. Now he says that the reason he was Kind of out of cash was that he spent everything he had on a down payment for a house in florida. He brought his entire family over and then he's he started. He brought him over and then guess what COVID. So whatever he had going on quickly slowed down, he ended up busting his knee, starts working for uber eats. Starts working at jujitsu tournaments for extra cash. Bro, a top five fighter in the ufc like that's that's difficult to hear, man. That's not cool, bro. That is.

Speaker 2:

Can you imagine like you order, fucking Like that. You order that that breakfast burger from carl's junior and it's alexander punto's delivering it to you and you only give him a two dollar tip? Well, you didn't know was alexander one because you tip beforehand.

Speaker 1:

You better go change that shit, bro. You better order another one and make sure that foods for him. Dude, that's pretty fucked up. So I was. I want to know how much the ufc was making into in 2021 and I found a website business.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. Check this out.

Speaker 1:

This is uh endeavor third quarter highlights. So basically there's a lot of info here, but basically they brought in 1.4 billion dollars in quarter three. Only after they pay all their shit off, they had a net income of sixty three point six million dollars. So they didn't have a shit ton of money, but they did have enough to Pay their fighters, enough to not have to work as an uber each driver, especially if you're in the top five. At least that should be like automatic, bro, like you don't want these guys riding motorcycles, jumping off cliffs, breaking their legs. But, dude, this guy's an uber each driver. He can get into a car accident. He, he's in Florida. Dude, some dumb fuck, could you blow his brains out for delivering a quarter pounder with cheese. Sorry, man, sorry, but I just think it's all bad man. I'm glad he he brought this to light and you know what? I think he said this like the day before he went on the podcast and Then, before he came out on the podcast, he must have talked to somebody in the UFC, because he immediately kind of pulled back on the, on his original quote, and was like this isn't a UFC thing, this is my thing. And that's when he went into into detail on the housing situation, on COVID and why he was experiencing these hard times.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, and it makes I mean, yeah, there's personal and just you know, covid stuff, that happened. You know I mean like, but still like you're top five, you've been top five, you know I mean like Share some of that coin.

Speaker 1:

Man, share some of that coin. It'll come back to you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

For sure. All right, bro. Here's a rumor that dropped late last week. It sounds like Mohammed Mokayev, and here's a name. I don't know you. Have you seen this kid fight yet?

Speaker 2:

No, dude, I actually don't. I don't think I I gotta go. Look at these two guys.

Speaker 1:

I forgot his last fight. He look, I want to say he won super fast, but he's Young prospect up and coming. I want to say this Brandon Royville came on the MMA hour with Ariel Hormani this last. What weight class is this? This is fly weights. So Brandon Royville, who's ranked like? What? Number three right now, or number two possibly?

Speaker 2:

He was the.

Speaker 1:

He was the backup for last week's championship flyweight matchup. So, brandon.

Speaker 2:

Royville's inner right now is number four.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So broyville was talking about fighters talking shit, and he said that Mokayev got into his DMs and started calling him a pussy, saying why don't you fight me this and that? And Then he also said that uh, to coral, is that the kids name that fought last week, tyrone? Oh, yeah, yeah title also DM him and was like mr Royville, I love your fights, you're very exciting. I you're an inspiration. Thank you, so kind of like each call, like a two different faces to the same coin. You know what I mean. Yeah, so uh that that reminded me of who Mokayev was. And then, a couple days later, I hear that they're announcing this matchup. I don't think it's official yet, but it looks like number 10 Tim Elliott's gonna be taking on number 11 rank Muhammad Mokayev. Bro, tim Elliott just won his last matchup. Remember? He's the guy who found out his wife was cheating on him with his homie on his wedding night and continued to fight. So, yeah, and he beat the shit out of the dude. He he fought last time. So let's see if he can keep that train going. But Mokayev is a youngster dude. He's a young, up-and-coming line. He's hungry.

Speaker 2:

He's taking the. The reason he won is because he took Bobby Boucher's playbook and imagined the dude giving it to his ex-wife.

Speaker 1:

Oh, there you go. That's what happens, dude. Speaking of giving it to not just kidding, last night UFC fight night, I was like fight night on ESPN 49 or some shit, I don't know. They gotta stop putting numbers on these things, dude. Just give them names, like if you're gonna not even gonna give, like I'm like main event.

Speaker 2:

I kind of like the numbers. It makes it easy to keep track.

Speaker 1:

But eventually it's gonna get out of hand.

Speaker 2:

No, like we're on 49, we're gonna be in to here's the deal, like if you, if you start giving them names like first of all, like names, become like crazy, stupid after a while because you Changed AI.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to get into all of the fights, I only want to get into, like the best, the goodies of the goods. But let me go over all the results. So here's the results from the prelands Ashley Evan Smith taking on Island Perez. Ashley Smith's coming back out of a suspension. She lost a three-round decision. Alex Muñoz, team alpha male product, fighting Carl Dean bro, this was an ass whooping like these guys were both trying to beat the shit out of each other. I think Dean took this fight on like 10 days notice, so he was coming in as a major underdog but put up a really good fight. Loses in the end but unanimous decision. Flyweight bout. Next was Tyson Nam taking on Ozot Maksum. That one ended up going three rounds, followed by Evan elder taking on Hinato Valdez. Evan elder takes that by decision. Austin Lingo taking on Mel Mel Kisa Costa Costa takes that in a three-round burner bro. Victoria do dokov do dokovah Taking on Estella Nunez. I got that clip in just a minute but that ends by Injury actually. So they're calling it a TKO round 1, 34 seconds. And then the main event of the prelims was Tucker let's taking on Mel's sick bag to Sarian, and that one was a banger dude. Bag to Sarian takes it three round decision. So let's get into some highlights and the best of the best dude. So this was, like I said, victoria do dokovah taking on Estella Nunez. If you're watching this and you are squeamish, turn away. That's your only warning.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, she posted the arm on the roll.

Speaker 1:

I mean that's pretty nasty dude. So for those of you out there listening. What ends up happening is Due to Kovac shoots in for a low single leg and when she grabs, gets a hold of that leg, she almost ducks under it like she's gonna try to invert like a roll, and when she rolls she takes Nunez down. When Nunez starts to fall down, she puts her that right arm out and does embrace herself correctly and that arm just collapses on itself.

Speaker 2:

So wait, go back to the x-ray. That's her x-ray. Yes, so it's not. It doesn't look like it was broken. At least it's just a bad dislocation. Yeah, it just fell out of its pocket.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so they're gonna have to go in and fix that and she do. The worst part was she was just screaming. Yeah, she was screaming for a minute, dude. I had to, like tell her to be quiet. It's like I'm trying to eat breakfast over here. I don't need to be seeing this again. I was pretty gnarly man. Hopefully everything's okay and then she recovers a hundred percent, you know. So, moving on to the main card, bro, the main card. I don't want to talk about all of the fights, but we did have some finishes. The opening fight was Nazim Sadikov taking on Terence T Rex McKinney. Bro, this is a who are the Long Island crew guys? Ray Longos crew. So Nazim is a re-long ago guy Fighting taking on Terence McKinney. Dude, how'd you score the first round? Um, I don't know, man, it was close because it was a pretty even fight, but towards the end the team turned the tables. He was able to get into Terrence's guard, start writing some shots, traded, landing some blows, and then the round in. And then the second round Dude, he just took over.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

You know the team now ends up winning by rear naked. Uh, the next fight Norma Dumont taking on Chelsea Chandler. Did you watch that fight? I did.

Speaker 2:

That was a three round ass whooping tooth that was that was, chelsea was so overmatched, dude well, she just I mean she kept on eating shots Like she had no, like no defense at all, like on the ground, on the feet, like it was, just I don't know Like it was there was no defense.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if you saw, during the weigh-ins, these two got into it. They had to separate them. They started talking mad shit to each other and so they came in extra heated. And as soon as this fight started, dude, like within the first 30 seconds, uh, dumont lands a couple of like counters and just knocks Chandler's block Like just really some clean, clean shots. And right off the bat, dumont knew, dumont knew she, she's going to be able to do this all night long, cause she just had a murk on her face and she had that look on her face all night long. Dude Three three round, ass whooping. Uh, next fight was Albert Duryev taking on Park June. Young bro, the iron turtle finishes my rear naked. Round two Was he getting his ass whooping the first round?

Speaker 2:

He was. He was the first part of the round. I think the first part of the round especially. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, he came back second round and you can't beat the iron turtle.

Speaker 1:

Nothing beats an iron turtle. Maybe a turtle head popping, I don't know, not in this cage, yeah, so that was pretty. That was a perseverance at its finest, bro. You know what I mean Getting taken into those deep waters. And he came back so excited to see what the iron turtle does at middleweight division. Next fight, uh, ottoman at Zeyar taking Francisco Prado. I got a clip for that Toot. That was a massacre, yeah, massacre. What's the Mel Gibson movie when they painted their faces Braveheart? It was like that, bro, like the scene when they were fighting and there's just blood everywhere and shit flying. It's like that. Uh, comaine, event, your boy JDM taking on late. Last second replacement, basil Javez, bro, shocker, dude Shoulda totally went on the over on that one, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Dude Basil surprised the shit out of me and Jack, I mean, look Jack, we'll save it.

Speaker 1:

We'll talk about it because I got, I will. I got some picks for that. And then the main event Holly home, my Robueno. Let's see what I got for us. I think I got the ending of the Nas and T-Rex fight. Check it out here.

Speaker 2:

That's why he's forcing so much wrestling.

Speaker 1:

Well, they're up against the cage because he was getting back. He's trying to fight for a take down.

Speaker 2:

So how do you relieve that pressure? Take a shot Now. Starts working for the back. At least T-Rex up against the cage. This is not how we wanted that scramble. They're not saying that off versus and it's on top.

Speaker 1:

Dude, and look at how we trapped that arm, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, he's got that choke in because he had his arm. Oh, look at his arm. He's got his arm, dude, he can't even defend. That's crazy, I don't think I've ever seen somebody trap somebody's arm behind their own back and it doesn't end.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was sick. Look at how he just slides over. Look yeah Versus Wow To full mount Scramble.

Speaker 2:

They're not saying that off versus Wow To full mount.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, that was super, 100%, intentional. Noz had T-Rex pressed up against the cage, Hip to hip, basically forced him down onto his back almost. And instead of giving up his, instead of giving up the mount, he's rather give up his back. And when he turns his back, since Noz was so tight on him, he ended up just like swallowing that that left arm. So he has his left arm pinned under his left leg, so now he doesn't have it to defend. Now he's got two arms to go for a choke and T-Rex only has one arm to defend it. So that was a quick, easy choke for Noz.

Speaker 2:

Oh, he's got that choke in because he had his arm choked. It was a pretty competitive first round. He can't even defend with that arm.

Speaker 1:

Pretty competitive first round, but in the second round dude Noz just turned it on.

Speaker 2:

He made sure he made sure McKinney had one arm so he could tap that was it?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, definitely yeah.

Speaker 2:

Here, I'll leave you, I'll leave you.

Speaker 1:

You're tapping him, I will allow you to tap my friend. Fuck that. All right, dude. Dude, this next fight. Did you see this one? If you didn't, definitely. Oh, you did. Good, good, dude. This is Autman Aitsatar taking on Francisco Bravo. I think this is Bravo's first fight in the UFC. A lightweight battle bruh, fucking, massacre, literally like blood everywhere, beatdowns, elbows, punches. That was the second time I ever saw him.

Speaker 2:

That was the second time I landed. That was the second time. Oh, he's got a vest, oh my goodness, beautiful.

Speaker 1:

Look at this Ground and pound from his guard.

Speaker 2:

Oh, francisco Prado, you're doing it, you're doing it, trying to really put a stamp on it.

Speaker 1:

Hey look at this Getting trapped. Those are so heavy. Oh the heavy.

Speaker 2:

Francisco Prado emptied the tank here. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Prado's no joke, man. Yeah, dude, I'm excited to see what this guy can do, man, because he just, you know, he reminds me of. He reminds me of that Alex Hernandez kid. Remember Alex Hernandez? Got the shit beat out of him by Cowboy Seroni and like never recovered. Yeah, Now he just gets beat up all the time. He's got that same build, he's got that same aggressiveness and I like that dude, Like look at how many right hands he's. He's like I don't give a shit if I'm in your guard or not, bro, I'm just throwing these hands.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and he's only like what, 20, 21, something like that.

Speaker 1:

Uh, let me see, I got that info right before you, my man. He's only 20, bro, yeah, he couldn't even go out in Vegas, had to stay at X caliber, circus, circus. So that was a crazy fight, dude. But even before he got it to the ground, uh, ottoman was already like bleeding from his head for some elbows, I think, like somewhere on the top of his head, so he was just leaking all over the place. All right, next fight I want to talk about is dude, your boy JDM, taking on. Who was this? Basil Hafez, last minute replacement Dude. This was a three round war. I don't have a highlight for this one, but both guys were taking some major, major shots, dude, and if you're watching this, you can see picture on the left. Dude JDM's nose is like in his skull. Well, it's always in the skull. This time they got forced in by this other dude's fist. Dude, yeah, man, look here's.

Speaker 2:

Here's the deal with this fight. Like his nose is for sure broke, it's been broke, I'm broke again, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Got no nose now.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't think, I didn't see this happening at all?

Speaker 1:

dude, I thought. I thought he would mow him down. I don't know if this was him, um, just I don't know you know, I think he's just not used to like the pressure wrestling.

Speaker 2:

That um was a Suza.

Speaker 1:

No, hafez, hafez, Basil, hafez.

Speaker 2:

Um came came out with. I think that's what ended up happening. Um, maybe he's just not used to. Uh, apparently he's a fucking beast. Right, hafez is in wrestling Like um, I, I, I. During the fight I kept on watching, like the tweets and stuff that come out and the comments from like um DC saying how like, like he's, he's, he's been causing trouble for a lot of his parting partners in wrestling and on the ground.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I forgot who some top contender was saying that he, like dude, he's subbing him all the time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So you know what I mean. He's, he's no slouch. So I mean, if you're that high level wrestler, you would expect to give somebody like JDM so much trouble.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so that's good. It's a little bit of hands going. He's going to be trouble. Yeah, so he for sure uh earned himself another crack in the UFC. What do you think?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no 100%. And the other thing too, about JDM, I just I don't know why he chose to go for those guillotines. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1:

Like, there was getting tired, maybe. Yeah, yeah, he should have just kept banging dude. Just keep doing what you're good at, dude.

Speaker 2:

But he showed some pretty good defense, you know, yeah, he did also.

Speaker 1:

I think he might need to work a little bit on his defense as well. Like his head movement circling away possibly cause I kind of felt like he was taking some unnecessary shots, like he was willing to risk the biscuit, for you know what I mean Really going to take shots in order to trade shots, and this dude was sticking around the entire time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I agree yeah. So he could have lost that too, man, I mean that was a close.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, it was close. If he could have got, if there had been some bad judges there, dude, it would have been. It could have easily have been the other way, easily. Yeah, all right, bro. Main event was Holly Holm taking on, uh, wayno Silva, the number three featherweight fighter, taking on the number 10. Dude, that's a lot of risk. It is a lot of risk and, uh, things don't go too well for Holly. Unfortunately, she ends the night with a loss. You can't really see too much here from this clip because it's super, super short, but she got stuck in some weird guillotine standing. It almost looked like a dars choke, was it? Yeah, yeah, uh, one arm under the other one, yeah, and, uh, yeah, she didn't take very long for her to tap out. So she taps out. And now what do you think? You think they're just going to swap places, or maybe not swap places, but does Buena move?

Speaker 2:

up to move up. I don't know about number three, she definitely probably top five for sure, right, and then Holly Holm probably slips out of the top five.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, I think so, man. So, yeah, that was the last thing, my man, that was the last matchup. Uh, fonzo, I know you're going to be gone for the next couple of weeks. My dude, make sure that you are safe. Take lots of photos. Anything you want to say to everybody before you start your vacation this week.
